Nope I need total darkness and the fan and plus I don't have cable

After a while, disco will wake up and turn it off. Then it is total darkness. Also, the fan is on every night. Doesn't matter if it's cold or not.

Yes.....Random Anime or US Prime time animation.

Disco will watch some random anime sometimes, and sometimes Robot Chicken on Hulu. But mostly just Bob's Burgers over and over.

Why is cable coming up....You don't need cable to sleep with the TV on......After Katrina I had nothing but a VCR and a bunch of taped Adult Swim shows and Berserk......I would wake up to the tape reaching the end and rewinding....I'd grt up and press play then go back to sleep

In winter I turn the off and the fan on before I go bed. I just sleep better when the room is cold.

Bob's Burgers is pretty sleep-inducing.  Unless there's a game on that I want to watch, I rarely make it past the first commercial break of whatever I'm watching.

I used to when I was younger.. and I started doing it again, but with movie streaming lately.. I think that's been pushing me past my providers data cap though so I'm trying to cut that out. I havent had any bill increases, but I only use wifi/data, and the shit I have is already pricey.. I've been looking into finding a solution to this issue actually. I hate data caps

Also I mean the shit's went up anyway.. but they usually say it's because the taxes go up or some shit.

I have the tv running on [ as ] when I go to bed but I don't have to worry about the tv staying on. Sleep mode is frickin' awesome. I just set the tv to turn off a few hours from the time I set it and don't worry about it.

As a teen I'd fall asleep after Cowboy Bebop or FLCL and wake up to whatever bullshit was on CN at 9:00 AM.

Can't have it on now, too much light, and I don't fancy leaving the PS4 on for hours when not using it.

I do leave on the salt lamp, though. Its soft orange glow blocks out the sunlight that gets through.

Fuck no.

Girlfriend used to.

First night I stayed at her place, it was a DVD of the Big Bang Theory.

Get through all the episodes and it jumps back to the main menu.

All night, laying awake,"Our whole universe was in a hot dense state, then 13 trillion years ago expansion started wait- Our whole universe was in a hot dense state, then 13 trillion years ago expansion started wait- Our whole universe was in a hot dense state, then 13 trillion years ago expansion started wait- Our whole universe was in a hot dense state, then 13 trillion years ago expansion started wait- Our whole..."

Bad shit.

Baaad shit.

Cant sleep with the tv on. I need it cold, quiet, and dark. I got a little night light when the miniature was a baby but that was just so I could check on him without turning the lights on. So now my room has total darkness except for a tiny corner where the batman symbol is projected on the ceiling.

If I leave something on it would be music, but I do have shows that make me comfortable enough to want to sleep...usually Futurama or Parts Unkown

No. I hate light and noise when I sleep. It needs to be dark and silent.

I WILL fall asleep while the TV is still on, however. I don’t intentionally leave it on to go to sleep.

Every night the television is on. All night. Can't sleep in total silence. We have six televisions in the house and typically, two-three of them are on all night.

Last night it was either South Park or the Daily Show, don't remember for sure.

Nope, just a fan

You know what used to bug me before I started sleeping with the TV on?

Here during the summer, it is absolutely mandatory to sleep with the fan on high.

Then when the weather cools down and the fan now makes the temperature too cold, the silence is DEAFENING.

I started sleeping with the TV on because I had panic disorder, and lying awake at night I was always thinking about how I'm going to die. Turning the TV on, even while not watching it, gave my brain something else to focus on.

My panic disorder seems to pretty much not exist anymore, but I got so used to sleeping with the TV on that it's just too quiet without it. Like my brain won't turn off. This is a symptom of my bipolar disorder.
