What was your first video game? (Corona shut down my job for a few weeks)

Crash bandicoot... I kept playing those damn stages but after getting the Playstation and the game my parents then refused to invest in a memory card. Only other games I can definitely remember us having for it was asteroids which I still hate now, and some like pizza Hut style CD of different game demos.

Super Mario World was the first game I really got into. I played some Atari stuff before that but don't remember what games. I think it must have been traded in or given away when we got the SNES and Genesis(which we got with Sonic 2, pretty sure I played the SNES first).

My first arcade game was either Ms. Pac-Man or Donkey Kong when I was five.

First video games I ever played was Duck Hunt and Mario Bros. 1.  Had the Nintendo cartridge with both games on it

so I don't remember which game I played first when I was nine.  Probably Mario Bros. 1 since I was playing that since

I was 5 or 6 at Chuck E Cheese.

I think was Sonic the Hedgehog, but it could have been Altered Beast. That was just so so long ago, I'm trying to remember which one I popped in first, I'm so sure it was Sonic, but now I'm doubting myself, just like a legal age teenage woman pulls back from a kiss on that first date and then she kisses you. 😓

First electronic game evah was Pong for Atari way back in the 70's played at a neighbor's house.

First NES game was the Super Mario / Duck Hunt combo cartridge played at a neighbor's house.

First game owned was a tie because I got them at the same time as I got the GameBoy Original - The Legend of Zelda : Link's Awakening and Super Mario Land.

If you are looking for a nostalgia trip when it comes to games go to GOG.com.

No DRM nonsense either, you get the game and no need for bloated loaders.

I picked up X-Com,X-com Terror from the Deep, X-com Apocolypse, the entire Krynn goldbox set and two of the Forgotten Realms archive sets for 35 bucks.

Anybody else remember that Hercules PC game?  ... shit was so hard for no reason

I have it for PlayStation and I beat it when I was 7 and never played it much afterward. I only recall struggling toward the end on that Olympus sky level. My PS3 has had the YLOD for 2 years and I haven't gotten it repaired, but once I do, I'm positive I can pop the disc in there and breeze through it.
