also bourdain. He basically had the life I’ve always dreamed of... and he killed himself.

Bordain's death fucked with me way more than i expected. He had a philosophy that played a role in my getting out of depression. His death by suicide really got me.

Between him and Robin Williams.

And now I'm sad.

Harold Ramis.  I've been a huge Ghostbusters fan since I was a kid.

Robin Williams and Michael Jackson are a close second and third though.

Harold Ramis was one of them

Leonard Nimoy is another one, in fact, any star trek main  cast actor death would impact me

What about when Alex Guinness died? He played Obi Wan in Search for Spocks sorcerer stones - Mordors Wrath

The Star Trek death that hit me was James Doohan - I saw him when I was in college (he used to speak about Trek, and he usually brought a blooper reel), and when my kids were still in school, he used to show up every year at the local highland festival.

Didn't I read like a feel good story about him checking up on a suicidal Trekkie? Like he was legit conference she wasn't showing up to his appearances anymore.

Idk if you remember the concert I used to host, but I met Maya as she was one of the conductors we got to do our shindig... She was kind of a bitch... But I figured it was just that I was white.

i do remember. and i think you mentioned her being the conductor, but, i didn't know she was 'kind of a bitch'

my aunt's friend was a good friend of hers, and he always said she was quite stand offish. but generally a very nice person.

*edit~and because you are white. totz*

Yeah, I read that back in my Trekkie days. He had a reputation as a genuinely nice individual. But then again, he was Canadian, so maybe he was just being polite.
