fuggnificent Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 Jeopardy and Frasier. howd u end up on adultswim if you didnt watch free cartoons?
SwimModSponges Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I watched The Magic School Bus too. Shit was dope educational.
DragonSinger Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Sailor Moon. It literally came on when I got home, so I did most of my homework in class and on the bus because my parents were strict about no tv before homework.
nameraka Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 my next door neighbor's college age daughter sunbathing on the deck mostly... oh... and animaniacs.
tsar4 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Three Stooges & Little Rascals - I think they had the old reruns on the local Fox channel, but I don't know if it was Fox back then.
Danger_Jules Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Hercules: The Animated Series..
Ric Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I watched all of those. Pretty sure Animaniacs I watched weekend mornings though.
fuggnificent Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 I watched Nickelodeon. Not everyone grew up rich.
fuggnificent Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 I watched all of those. Pretty sure Animaniacs I watched weekend mornings though. Nah it was after school too.
blueraven1999 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I watched all of those including everything else on the Disney Afternoon. Also watched The Real Ghostbusters. Edit: Just wanted to include I watched Animaniacs when I was in middle school. It wasn't around when I was a kid. Also watched Smurfs and He-Man after school when I was a kid too. I'm not sure if I watched He-Man before school or after school though.
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Depending on the year, TMNT, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Taz-Mania, Garfield and Friends... Once I hit junior high it became SNL reruns on Comedy Central.
molarbear Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Dragonball Z ^ I only had time to watch a couple episodes of Toonami before either Baseball or Football practice started
André Toulon Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I had friends, we hung out at the arcade until it got dark. Until around 6th grade when I had football practice and discovered pot. I didn't have time to be lame except for Saturday mornings..
enad Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Sailor Moon. It literally came on when I got home, so I did most of my homework in class and on the bus because my parents were strict about no tv before homework. In that way they encouraged you to be both a writer and a lesbian.
NaBarney Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 The second half of Pokemon and an episode of Yugioh on WB. Sometimes it was two yugiohs and I think X-Men Evolution and Jackie Chan Adventures came on during the afternoons for awhile. Also remember Batman TAS and Superman TAS back to back for an hour at some point. Later it was Friends and Seinfeld.
naraku360 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 In that way they encouraged you to be both a writer and a lesbian. Only the Japanese version had lesbians. In English they censored it with incest.
quebecelegy Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 mexican soap operas and toonami. not much has changed except toonami is neigh unwatchable now.
1pooh4u Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Tom and Jerry Woody Wood Pecker Popeye Merry Melodies/Luney Tunes I watched Tiny Toons Animaniacs and that history cartoon but pretty sure I was in HS by then.
bnmjy Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 All those show were playing as reruns for me. You old.
Chapinator_X Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Nickelodeon and DBZ. I remember the cartoons I liked were playing in the mornings so I feel like I spent my afternoons doing something else.
DragonSinger Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 In that way they encouraged you to be both a writer and a lesbian. I actually got back into drawing/writing when my family was too poor to afford cable, and I needed to distract myself from the nerd despair of missing Toonami airing a new season of Sailor Moon. The bi thing became more obvious to me because of Xena.
DragonSinger Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Tom and Jerry Woody Wood Pecker Popeye Merry Melodies/Luney Tunes I watched Tiny Toons Animaniacs and that history cartoon but pretty sure I was in HS by then. Histeria?
floggingmollyrocks13 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 code lyoko is the one show i remember the most doing my homework to after school
MEXobiologist Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 in elementary, all of the above, but no option for that though, i don't remember if they were on after school time slots
viperxmns Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Actually all of those but even at the time I thought of Power Rangers as cheesy so not that so much Prior to that other cartoons such as Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, The Real Ghostbusters...
MEXobiologist Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Dragonball Z DBZ, Sailor Moon, and the dessert portion of great chefs were my after school programming in late middle school/early high school years >
MEXobiologist Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Actually all of those but even at the time I thought of Power Rangers as cheesy so not that so much i think that is why i watched it, otherwise, it was a little behind me, like... that was my lil brothers shit x100 cheesy kung-fu and japanese monster movies were a staple in my house, this was just a bit more appealing having been targeted for children.
1pooh4u Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Histeria? lol, yes, I couldn't, for the life of me, remember what it was called THANK YOU! :catsmile
Ginguy Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Didn't watch after school, we were outside playing in the neighborhood. In the morning I watched Robotech (Macross) and the early morning news on WGN
PenguinBoss Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 When I was younger, I would watch the Disney afternoon cartoon block and Toonami. Then Disney moved away from that and it was the WB and Toonami.
