BIG MONEY IDEA! Do You Want To Die At The Bottom Of The Sea?

No one feels bad and people are cheering because billionaires don’t become billionaires by being nice. Each one of those fucks in that sub have politicians from several countries in their pockets and manipulate economies and governments across the globe causing untold levels and storylines of suffering. Fuck them. I’m cheering

I mean there are multiple reasons why this has captured so much attention compared to other recent news:

1. People really like fables that play out in real life.

2. The Titanic has a strong influence in America and was already a historical lesson about deadly hubris.

3. Seeing billionaires face consequences for their terrible decisions is very rare to see.

4. People are very tired of the narrative of billionaires having their money because they're better than everyone when it usually comes at the cost of human suffering.

5. There's a human fascination about things that can kill us with absolute power like the forces of waters that deep.

These are also the reasons that rich white men are lauded as heroes for doing pointless things like climbing Mt Everest or crossing Antarctica.  Exploration is ultimately an endurance for entitled people and catastrophic failures are a way to humanize them.

I never understood that shit especially after I found out they be using dead bodies as landmarks.

I am an alien then because I have 0 fascination with that shit.

My fascination is basically a scientific curiosity of whether they went pancake or toothpaste if the sub imploded on the floor.

That's not exactly something you can set up as an experiment because that would be gross and unethical. But if a bunch of rich morons want to volunteer for an unplanned variation of that experiment, that's on them.

And finally, the amount of people online who are seemingly cheering for the people to die is just sickening.Yea, this was dumb as hell. Doesnt mean people deserve to die over it.

Will somebody... please.... think of the poor rich and powerful!

Orcas are teaching each other how to take out luxury yachts. If that ain’t a sign of Mother Nature being sick of our shit idk what is, but nah, rich people, full of shit and  hubris decided to dive 40k ft in a sardine can controlled by a 13 year old PlayStation controller.  See, it’s hard to feel bad 😬😆:poophead:

It's not just a rich white male thing, mostly a rich male thing. Recently, this rich Malaysian asshole was saved by a Sherpa climbing Everest. Instead of thanking the Sherpa, he thanked his sponsors and blocked the Sherpa on social media.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.scmp.com/news/asia/southeast-asia/article/3223158/malaysian-climber-slammed-not-thanking-sherpa-who-rescued-him-everest-death-zone

As for the topic at hand, I just wanna see how this plays out, but there is something to be said about rich men's endeavors having to eventually be saved, or rather subsidized, by the public . . . that is the rescue mission is run by taxpayers.

not cheering, but don't really give a fuck about a bunch of rich fucks showing off the endless amount of capitol they have.

i mean...“In the course though of going out on Titan, and diving down inside of it, it just became clear to us at that time that there was a alot that needed to be worked out with the sub,” Gates said. "A lot of the systems worked but a lot of them really didn’t. We had issues with thrusters and issues with computer control and things like that. Ultimately, it was a challenging dive."

the money involved in this search.

The USCG also said the following assets are on their way to the site to assist in the search:

          Canadian CGS Ann Harvey

·         Canadian CGS Terry Fox

·         Motor Vessel Horizon Arctic (ROV)

·         French Research Vessel L’Atalante (ROV)

·         His Majesty's Canadian Ship Glace Bay (mobile decompression chamber and medical personnel)

·         Air National Guard C-130

·         ROV from Magellan

"White" is a code word for "entitled," so, yes, there are people like that in every country, usually the ones that maintain power over the political and economic engines.   Two of the passengers on the submersible hail from Pakistan, which isn't exactly a place or prosperity.

Interestingly, just like a professional athlete, the climber thanked his sponsors.

Simpsons predicted the concept of submarines losing control. Better go edit some eerie core music over a clip of Futurama’s Titanic episode.

That music fucking ruined the clip. There are uncanny Simpsons incidents, like Trump becoming elected president, but this isn't one of them.

Well the last hour of oxygen has passed and it appears they haven't found the submersible.

Also The Simpsons apparently predicted this too -

I'm really tired of the "The Simpsons predicted the future!!!!!" thing.

Yes, sometimes things will be similar or it'll land on a weird coincidence.

Because its done basically everything. Jesus fucking Christ, it has like a million episodes.

and just a note, if not already mentioned, or the fact that it just dawned on me.

the 'noises' being picked up, would be that of the submersable being crushed, is that about right?

ok..another thought, these fools KNEW the complications this project had from the beginning. being that fucking rich, they would have absolutely had to have. so, why still do this? did they want to die?

One theory I hear is that billionaires being so damn rich find it difficult to entertain the possibility of bad things happening to themselves.  That they can buy their way out of problems.

On the radio a bit ago they had an ex navy specialist on to talk about this. According to him that sound they heard was not the implosion. It was picked up by a P3 after the likely implosion event and it was too rhythmic to be the implosion. He speculated it was some other noise that is just traveling because noise apparently travels very well under water.

If this was truly a catastrophic implosion then it would have been extremely quick and loud. He actually speculated that the US Navy, and other NATO Navys, have probably known that this thing failed from the minute it happened but wont disclose it because it gives away their listening secrets. He made it sound like its something that is extremely obvious to well trained ears and is unmistakable against background noise.

I dont know how accurate that is, but it makes sense to me. At those pressures any failure happens ridiculously fast.

The company won’t be charged for the recovery efforts despite the fact that they made such a sub par piece of shit that it couldn’t handle the pressure of the dive.

In all seriousness none of the people on that sub thought it was unsafe. Not even the passenger that actually fought against regulation for this type of thing thought he’d die.   Rich people are naïve in a way. They think that their $$$ buys safety. That no one would dare endanger them for real.  Apparently they forgot how greedy people are, despite them probably being greedy themselves.  Government regulations are crucial. Without them companies absolutely will not do the right thing on their own. Very rare.

I dont really think its so much that rich people are naive as it is Humanity tends to trust its technology. No one at NASA was naive about the possibility of a space shuttle blowing up but we sent went to, and continue to go, space. If an airplane fails at 30k feet you are dead. Car breaks and steering fail on the highway? Probably dead.  Hell, the Titanic itself was thought to be "unsinkable" at the time because of our trust in technology.

We just trust that our technology is going to work and be the thing that gets us to our end goal.

That mentality hasnt really changed. What has changed are safety standards and testing requirements. These guys seem to have skipped out on 100+ years of safety requirements and it cost them dearly.

you bet your ass the DoJ had their eyeballs on this. the thing that IS concerning...but not surprising, is that the agency, supposedly obligated to follow an oath to protect the citizens of these, united states. the very least, they could have dropped a dime on the local agency.

all that money exchanging hands.
