Would you rather live in a house that's kept at constant 45 degrees or a constant 85 degrees?

45 as well

Just bundle up and you're good. Plus, it reminds me of that one excerpt from Moby Dick that one cannot fully appreciate the comfort a blanket gives in front of a fireplace i.e. warm air, but one can with cold air.

Humans can adapt to colder climates within reason, but once you start getting into hotter temperatures it doesn't effectively cool itself off and that effects all parts of the body systems.

I'm not even gonna make a joke about the house leaning.

Legit, which would you find the least disagreeable temperature?

85 for sure, I'm fine with heat.

It's cold that I hate.

45. That house gonna get heated up from me cooking. Cooling down while in a constantly hot house is a bitch.

Toaster ovens won't heat up the whole house to some intolerable degree.  It's much better than those cumbersome, behemoth ovens that most people use.

85.  45 would run my electric bill through the roof and would be too cold.

I don't think you can get to 45 with an air conditioner, though.  Maybe if you lived in a grocery cooler, you could.

Spongebob told me all you have to do is leave your refrigerator door open all night and you wake up to an arctic tundra.

45. I got a big-ass coat I can wear, and with those cheap, super-thin knit gloves, you can usually still use touch screens while wearing them. That and a couple pairs of socks, and I'm happy as a horse.

Constant 45.  I hate the heat.  It's easy enough to wear warm clothing and

just use blankets.  I live in Wisconsin.  I'm used to the cold.
