Honesly I was caught off guard needing a haircut, but the national guard let some lady come in to cut hair every once in a while, and I was able to get a haircut when I was on orders..

I'd had one scheduled for like one week after salons ended up being closed in my state. I now one scheduled on the 30th of this month which is about when I'd be due for another one had I gotten one when my last one was scheduled.

In other words, I need one pretty badly.

My mom use to cut mine but I find it's relatively easy just to take clippers with a 13mm attachment and just have at it.
Trimming around the back of the neck and by the ears took some getting use too.  It would help if I would just invest in a hand mirror.

how long is it.

Eh, pass the boobs, I guess.

I cut my hair like once a year, maybe? Again, depending on if I want it. :D

And when I do get it cut, I go shoulder length.

My hair is at the length now where I could probably just let it grow out again because it's almost just past the length where I really hate it.

I also haven't had my hair this long in probably a decade.  Because it's curly, I would not attempt to cut it at this point.

how was the social distancing?

In general I've personally had mouth breathers invade my personal space. In the Salon, they went overboard. I had to wear a mask during the entire haircut and at some points they would have me remove the strings and hold the mask.

she should just ppe up and keep doing them. get the whole hazmat thing going.

Her dad died during all this so I can’t really ask her to do that. I’m sure it’s going to be just as you say when she starts back up.  It’s impossible to be six feet apart 😆

I was actually thinking of growing my hair out again. I'd have to dye it though as I'm going gray. I was thinking of getting my roots done turquoise to go with my purple tips. I'd have to bleach them first. Wondering if I could do this myself or risk the salon visit when things open up again.
