Find the beauty in life. The very fact we are even here is a miracle.

The purpose i found myself was love...love of everything and everyone..love of experiencing life

Also im grateful for being chosen to live an intelligent conscious life no matter how much it hurts sometimes

Oh and meds...lots of meds

I'm looking for something a little more objective that isn't meds.

I need something that can be measured by scientific standards

Then become a researcher or scientist...you will still be at awe at the miracle of being thst way but you can measure your findings

Learn how to cook. Not just subsistence cooking, learn how to cook well. Like learn how to make bread. The success of a loaf of bread can be measured pretty objectively

I don't really get out of it. I usually just keep pressing on until I hear a good joke or read a good poem. Then the weight of the thing gets lighter and I can enjoy something I want to do.

Ask yourself these two questions:

  Are you Packard?

  Are you Zeni?

If you answered "no" to both of these questions, congratulate yourself, for that makes you a winner in life. Maybe even worthy of a cookie.

If you answered "yes" to either question, then there is no hope, and your life truly is pointless. Please proceed to the nearest busy interstate, wait until traffic is heavy, close your eyes, and walk from one side to the other.

Depends on the level of 'this sucks' .

Nice long soak in the tub is helpful. It's something that wasn't possible growing up so having the time to do so and having choices [ bubble bath, oils, salts, mixture ] is still a luxury thing - a reminder of how far I've come from what I was.

There's a pet store nearby that hosts adopt-a-kitties. Occasionally I'll go there and cuddle the babbies if things are really feeling terrible and I just need some pity party time alone. I leave covered in strange cat hair but often feeling a little better.

And at my age, naps. Naps are good. :D

FInd something that makes you happy, even if it's for a moment.

Or just eat some comfort food. That works for me too.
