I like how you raised my rent, attached a 100 dollar charge in addition to the raise because I renewed my lease right before it was up but the property manager didnt sign it until the next day but when my fucking oven goes out and needs repair .... y'all dragging ass about fixing it. 

Then somebody was in my apartment fucking around with this old ass air conditioner, looked around in my stuff to find an extension cord .... plugged the extension cord (you found in my apartment) into my surge protector to plug this mystery cord thats now hanging out of my air conditioner .... and didn't bother putting the cover back on right.

Anyway months ago when they were talking about it, they made it seem like it was going to be the same across the board ... why now are they saying dont share your payout amount with colleagues

I finally ate the Sakura Sake flavored Kit Kats that were in the Naruto Mystery Snack Box thingie I picked up ages ago.

I'm now headachy, fevery, and feeling pukey. So I looked it up. Yep, it has actual alcohol in it and not just a non-alcoholic flavoring.

Naw, more cherry blossom which is a milder taste and not cherry cough syrup taste.   

I have spring cherry blossom green tea that I enjoy on occasion and it had that sort of taste to it. It wouldn't have been that bad if the aches and gut twisting hadn't started up.

My oven still hasn't been replaced and I woke up this morning to turn on the water in my bathroom and its brown .... tub water looks like somebody's dehydrated urine pouring out. 

 

also in the kitchen 

 

so I call the leasing office and they were like   "oh we'll call somebody" 

 

who is somebody? A plumber? The water company? 

My mom said call the news

Two calls.

Call the leasing office and tell them they have 5 minutes to start fixing things or you'll start calling the local news stations about your issues and tell each of them that the other guy is running your story.

Wait 3 minutes and call whichever news has a whistleblower hotline thing going on [ there's always one ] . Chances are the office will attempt to call your bluff anyway and not even bother to return your call with any sort of pretend details for at least 10 minutes after the first call. Which at that time you'll already have talked to the whistleblower and set the wheels in motion. If they are butt-dragging with you, they are butt-dragging with others.

Further, there is a thing [ different states have different takes so check first obviously ] where you can refuse to pay the rent directly to whoever you are paying rent if it turns out that they aren't keeping up with the expected maintenance and that's causing a hardship / loss of use on your part. It usually consists of still paying the rent but you put it in a specific bank account to hold it until the repairs are completed and the apartment is fully usable again. The rent is therefore still getting paid, it isn't being withheld completely by you but they can't touch any of it until all agreed issues are dealt with. I'm not full on the details because I've never had to go that route, all I did was threaten to not pay rent because the repairs in the apartment were taking way too long and everything was done in a week.

Big bright 'Naruto-was-here' orange sign on the back door of the apartment building telling Fed Ex specifically to use the other door for deliveries today. The front door by the office was unlocked for the day to allow people to pay the rent early. A drop area had already been set up. 

Get home to see a post-it tag from Fed Ex right next to the big bright 'Naruto-was-here' orange sign on the back door of the apartment building.

What's more, I had promised bitchcakes that we'd have a whole lot of fun when I got back from work because there was a project I needed her for. Apparently she was really into that promise because when I got home and there was no project time, she followed me around crying for a bit before falling asleep on my feet at the computer. Not even wiggle-worm time helped and usually she's all about low impact wiggle-worm time. She's now in a misery ball in the bedroom waiting for animes. So ...  went to this family meeting at the rehab where my step-dad has been. Basically the physical therapist said he's going to need 24 hour care. 

So the case manager was like ... well you can take him home and see how it goes.

So ... the physical therapist was like ... it's going to be hard because it's hard for 2 grown men and it's just my mom in the house 

So I told my mom tell them exactly that. Those case managers are just trying to get you out ASAP so they can flip the bed.

So I have been working to get this person's special transportation extended all morning. I have been on hold for probably 3 hours on one phone and doing my regular work/conference calls/team meetings with google voice on my cell phone (which the company does not pay for at all). 

They have the nerve to curse me out on the floor because I AM NOT A NURSE AND CANNOT GIVE HEM TYLENOL 

..... sir .... if I was low down .... I would say fuck it ... I hope you have to crawl down the fucking street to get here next week

.... I'm getting REAL TIRED of this stuff with my stepdad. 

So now they moved his discharge day back one day to see if they can come to an understanding with the VA. 

First they said they could probably at minimum get 20 days covered by the VA.

Now they're saying the VA wont pay for extended rehabilitation but he's still got way too much going on to go home with my mom

Then even with home health aides, their home is so tight, there's no place for this lift they keep advertising to go.

I have no idea what they're going to do

Flat tire this morning but the good thing is this nice lady in my building let me borrow her air pump so I could make it to a tire shop.
