lupin_bebop Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 When I was at my parent's place, yes. It was actually tax deductible when we did. In my place now, no, because they don't have a recycling service.
Naraku4656 Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 I do because I care about my planet i don't because A. it goes to the same place B. it's a pain in the ass to sort C. i just don't care enough so pass me that plastic bottle and i'll toss it right in the trash
Naraku4656 Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 Recycling is for homosexos. WE ARE MEN, AND MEN DO NOT RECYCLE SO WE DON'T CATCH THE GAY
Naraku4656 Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 When I was at my parent's place, yes. It was actually tax deductible when we did. In my place now, no, because they don't have a recycling service. i have actually argued with my city to allow me not to have to pay for recycling service because i don't recycle but apparently they can't do it. the ONLY sort of recycling i do is for hazardous household waste like computer parts and that's ONLY because i have to. i'm not paying a fine for that shit. i'll drive to the recycling center to avoid a $300 fine. but otherwise i don't care
StarPanda Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 i don't because A. it goes to the same place B. it's a pain in the ass to sort C. i just don't care enough so pass me that plastic bottle and i'll toss it right in the trash I just throw plastic and cardboard in the blue one and leafs in the green one and trash in the black one not so hard
Juice McKenzie Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 i have a separate bin for cans/bottles and a box for paper
Codename: Jackass Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Yes even though I live in a shit town and have to take it down to a drop off area.
Bouvre Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Yes even though I live in a shit town and have to take it down to a drop off area. A hero of our time.
PhilosipherStoned Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Man I'd post the Pen & tellers bullshit theres a whole episode on why recycling and the green movement is complete bs.. theres honestly zero need to recycle and it does more harm than good. Aside from stuff like aluminum, batteries and other shit. Hopefully this is a good cut of it.
Codename: Jackass Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 A hero of our time. I belong in the recycling bin.
Still Me Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 i used to...it was required...but this apartment complex doesn't...I mean I could recycle...but it's just one giant dumpster...kinda defeats the purpose
NaBarney Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 i don't because A. it goes to the same place B. it's a pain in the ass to sort C. i just don't care enough so pass me that plastic bottle and i'll toss it right in the trash i have actually argued with my city to allow me not to have to pay for recycling service because i don't recycle but apparently they can't do it. Wtf how hard is it really to do? My city gives everyone two distinct large containers, one for trash and one for everything recyclable, plastic cardboard aluminum erc, not glass. Takes no thought or effort aside from keeping two different trash cans in the home.
Sawdamizer Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 We have to pay extra... $60 a month... so I don't. Oh well.
Chapinator_X Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 The city gave everyone a recycling bin, so it makes more sense for me to use both bins rather than pile the garbage way too high.
wacky1980 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 the local trash collector doesn't do any recycling, and the municipality stopped offering recycling drop-off locations because people were just taking their regular trash out there as opposed to paying for trash pickup. but i'm a hoarder, so i have my own brand of recycling. it's called hoarding.

However my local area is supposed to have inline recycling anyway so it might still happen on the back end
Blatch Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 I recycle all the boxes of stuff I consume. Break them up and put 'em in the recycle bin. It's clean and responsible fun.
1938 Packard Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 cus i sure don't Neither do I. Total waste of time and effort. I just toss everything in one big bag and send it out three times a week.

Codename: Jackass Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Does throwing my empty bottles into the woods behind the apartment count? They turn into compost right? Only the plastic ones.
Lacks_Sympathy Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 > > > > > Girl, why would I recycle panties? > Wow, rude, stop stealing my jugs. Unless you tell me what you need them for. I need them to store your stolen panties in. It's the perfect plan.
