And Elon Husk said he would abide by the results of his own biased vote and GTFO.

So far, his damn sink is still taking up valuable space in an office that's about to be foreclosed on.

Pfizer execs pressured Twitter to censor information/discourse regarding their vaccine; which totally isn't causing sudden death among young healthy people....

Why are you implying that it is. What are you clownishly ascribing the effects of covid on the population to "the Pfizer vaccine" because that's some very stagnant oafish gutterclownery, very Indiana of you. Crying like a bitch about "the Pfizer vaccine killing young people" what a boring circus freak show you're failing to gin up excitement for here, that won't get you many patrons at all but I know you really only do it for the love of the 🤡 game

Multiple DNC officials and ranking Reps including pencil-neck Adam Schiff pressured Twitter to remove anti-Biden memes.

Pfizer, the NIH, and CDC pressured Twitter/Facebook to censor information about effective treatments for the Wuhan virus, resulting in untold thousands of deaths.

I love washing down (literal) horse pills with bleach. It definitely saved “untold” thousands.

Yeah, how dare people want things that have the F bomb plastered all over them removed from a service their kids have access to. How very unfamily-friendly of them.

And how dare those responsible for medical information make any sort of request to tamp down shit about intestinal shredding farm animal dewormer, bleach [ the drinking of ], and fish cleaner tablets being touted as 'alternative and effective' treatments of COVID-19 because manly patriots with tiny dicks are afraid of tiny pricks.

Strike 2. Want to nuke yourself, keep it up. My heart has a longer shelf life than you right now and I turn grey at least once a week currently. :|

if only you knew how often people pressured both my journalist parents (long since retired) to not write something. Like half the time it was the police or the local judiciary aka the government. It's not new, and the twitter files totally ignores any republican removal requests doesn't it?

Anyone in government is absolutely allowed to ask you to not write something or delete content. Do you have to? No. If you refuse them, and then they retaliate using government force, yes, that's a violation of free speech.

But for the 100004598347593845th time, forcing twitter to host content it doesn't wanna would 100% be a violation of its free speech. If they wanted to bury the laptop story and deny it ever existed right up until the moment Musk walked in with the sink, they could've and it wouldn't have violated anyone's free speech.

Don't forget the FBI/Comey totally fucked Hilary in 2016 in fucking october.

And if Katt bans you, it's not a violation of your free speech.

Stop being a tribal pawn. Be a real libertarian and think for yourself instead of regurgitating every single conspiracy theory you hear about. Why not talk about fiscal or monetary policy? Or even 2A stuff. I'd seriously be right there with you for both of those issues. Except... oh wait... you might be against conservative monetary policy now because Daddy Elon is the new strongman and he's against conservative monetary policy because Tesla still has a shit P/E even after falling 70%

While revenue for a lot of internet sites that rely on advertising is down, Twitter's is far ahead of the curve, with over 500 advertisers refusing to well...advertise.

Sure sounds like Trump is about to return to twitter.

Lots of talk this morning about him making some sort of grand spectacle of returning to Twitter.

Does anyone know if he's already declared bankruptcy for 'truthsocial' yet then? Or at the very least, transferred so-called control of it to someone else so they end up having to pay those bills? Pretty sure he's glued to that site for financial reasons and if he runs from that, bills happen.

No word yet, but I bet its not long after his return to Twitter than news of "truth" going out of business breaks.

Seems more likely Musk is begging him to come back to boost site engagement again to slow down the hemorrhaging. Surely nothing stopping Trump from just using it to direct more traffic over to his own site, cuz I'm sure twitter hasn't blocked those links, like all the other social media redirects...

Twitter's problem isn't engagement, it's revenue streams derived from that engagement.  Bringing Trump back isn't going to bring advertisers back, nor is it going to fix the problems generated by the job cuts.

The account is unbanned. No tweets yet.

Don’t forget three things:

1. Donald is jealous of Elon being a real billionaire

2. Moving back into twitter would acknowledge Truth Social’s failure

3. Donald hates Elon

If 70% of your followers are bots, you can't possibly think you are going to get a lot of anything other than the same thing plagiarized over and over again. That's not content or 'impression', that's just hubbb sans the whimsey.

I think I'm up to 5 followers now and only one of them is a bot. They keep claiming to travel to all these exotic places but they must teleport. Harmless vacation pic bot. The crypto-bot died in a single day and doesn't count.

I’m sad to not be on Twitter anymore because it really got me almost idiosyncratically informed, but it just soured so much once Musk bought it.

I think its easier for me to not pay attention to all the overwhelming stupid because I don't have it on any sort of phone or portal device. Its on the desktop so the only time I ever see anything from it is when I'm online doing things in the evening. I go, I spleen, I flip over to youtube for kitten videos.

Seeing mister cringelord's posts at the top of my feed is annoying but I'm too lazy to give him an actual block plus i dont want him to know i exist

I've only seen one since his Super Bowl tantrum. I think most of the people I follow have blocked him so I don't get as many residual tweets.

Still a weird amount of Bollywood though.

So much for Spoutible being a good alternative. Bouzy went full bitch over a section about adult content in his TOS being questioned. Dude could have just researched how vague language in those areas lead to targeting minorities, but he decided to pull a Musk and lose his entire shit.
