Mayo

No. As long as there are sandwiches, there will be mayo.

As a Gen Xer who grew up with landline phones and still has one, I plan to keep using mine as long

as I can.  I usually have my smart phone turned off unless I'm playing my games on it or I'm using

it for work.  Stamps should be on that list.  I'll keep using them as long as they're around.

Although I guess for businesses, it's important to still use stamps since it seems more professional so maybe not.

I think I might hold out for the land lines. I hate talking on the phone and missing every call I get when I'm not home sounds great.

I don't think I have watched cable in over 10 years.

So impressive.

I know, it makes zero sense. I need cable shows though.

You don’t need a landline for cable. You don’t even need cable for cable. Internet is all you need. Sling, YouTube, Hulu, iTunes/Google Play, and Netflix take care of the rest for you.

Mail order catalogs.

Phone sex lines.

Trailer houses.

Agree with mail order catalogues.

I'm not sure I agree with phone sex lines.... I'm not convinced seniors are their main clientele, even now. I guess it's possible though.

My friend has a mobile home.

They're already gone...or at least I haven't received a new one in at least 4 or 5 years.

Somehow, my stepmother still gets one every year.

That phrase will never die. Millennials have started using it on other millennials.

Psh, my kids use it on other kids......

That said, it'll die.....It's a product of the internet age...The sheer amount of shit that is piled on each day means it'll eventually get buried mostly except for maybe a 40 something Viper still using it.

Is that ambrosia?

I think ambrosia has marshmallows.....And now that I think about it, maybe that what it is and I have no idea what Mthor is talking about with cottage cheese.

I don't know but I will continue not eating it.

It's that stuff somebody always brings to a church supper or potluck lunch, cottage cheese and either canned mandarins or crushed pineapple mixed up with either orange or lime jello powder to a uniform color. I think that there might be cool whip in it, too, and sometimes maraschino cherries.

I don't know what it's called, but it's noxious. Not ambrosia - that involves marshmallows and no cottage cheese.

I need a landline for a cheaper cable/internet bill.

I also need my sports and Hallmark channel. Lawlz. :|

That stuff is decent in small doses.

I've never heard of anything like that.  I mean, I do enjoy canned peaches of pineapple with cottage cheese, but the jello powder thing is weird.
