I had no idea what I was doing since I started on someone else's save file which was in Land's End with the whirlpools. Wound up getting all four Dragon Warrior games on the NES at garage sales when I was a kid. Picked up a copy of Final Fantasy too. I never beat the games, because I didn't have the patience to grind out levels and I wound up advancing too far and getting stuck.
