Anyone else ever go back to view a post after you got a like or whatever?

I'm always curious on how people react to the post. Is it a like? Are they laughing? Are they confused?

So yeah, I go back.

What gets me is when people like something without leaving a comment leaving you with no context clues.

especially a confused face, or a laughing face, for something that is either quite clear, or stated with no intent to be funny.

Usually a like, or thanks, is something I see as a general agreement.

It's all vanity over here.

Yeah...but because when I start getting likes it’s for a series in a thread and I’m always like “ok...which one was the one you thought was funny”...

gotta play to your crowd ya know?

Absolutely. Also thanks for the new word. :D

It's one of my favorites. Once I learned it I just started noticing pernicious things. Like when you buy a car and suddenly you start seeing the same model everywhere?

Since being here, and learning the “faces”, I don’t really go back and look. There isn’t a mad face, or a love emoji. If anything I say is confusing, I’m not going back and explain it. If it’s a sad face, then what I said was probably sad. Otherwise, like you said, it’s usually a like or thanks. I have used the like and laugh more than any other. Because I see funny things here, and I generally enjoy a good chuckle.

Or your wedding singer singing all of Alan Jackson's hits in reverse chronological order but skipping over "Dallas" and suddenly all our drink tokens are gone.

I don't know how I would cope with that.

Sometimes bc i see the notification and i forgot what I said or that i even posted in the thread. Or bc i think if someone liked it maybe they responded to it but didnt quote so i go to see if theres more replies

Yeah but it's only because I post so sporadically and then I forget a week later when I actually get the like. I got a few the other day when I actually made the post so I didn't have to look but I do look at the notification thing because I hate having it tell me I have notifications

Wutsit taste like?

A poor substitute for genuine social interactions with a side of disappointment.

Well I mean if you want to look at it that way I guess but I hate the notification itself not the...

I just do it to get rid of that reddish pinkish number notification in the upper right hand corner

i do it all the time. mostly because i'm annoyed by the notification being unread. and sometimes i'll go and see that it's a post that's been posted several days, weeks or months ago getting a liked or quote.

Everyone KNOWS your ass does. You’re so quick to try and take a victory lap, you don’t even realize we are making fun of how bad you and your cooking are, dumbass.
