I'll put some in with Packard's groceries and send him to you.  If he resists the urge to smoke, you'll be handsomely rewarded.

Edit:  Actually, you'll also be handsomely rewarded if he does smoke.

On the topic of the gas "shortage"...we haven't seen anything indicative of it....I filled up yesterday, and the gas stations I pass don't seem to be getting assaulted and I'm coming out of Fort Worth rn.

I'll probably fill up again tomorrow just in case it stings us over the weekend but I think in general, Texomams are just too lazy to hoard....we didn't even have the toilet paper issue....we did get hit by the disinfectant craze, but I think that was out of towners

Are you too far north for that particular pipeline?  I thought it was coming out of Houston or something.

I'm in NC. Yesterday there were ridiculous lines. Today there's just nothing.

it feeds the east coast. i don't think tx/la/al took the hurt like ga&north has.

the midwest is still in high supply, but the price has gone up because that's just how it do.

There's not a shortage.. This is all spawning from a ransomware attack on a pipeline facility. I've heard south east states may be affected more, but the real story here is the fear if you ask me.. Tell me there really arent a bunch of idiots using bags to store gas in their vehicle like the medias reporting..

So you're aware there's not an actual shortage then.. The attack did happen and a bunch of files were lost to it, but it only hampered operations for a short time from what I'm seeing.. Are there even any gas stations out of gas anymore or we panicking because your favorite one has the pumps shut down. :|

this is from usatoday.com as of noon today:

there's not a supply shortage from the source. but the endpoints are experiencing massive supply issues, mainly due to hoarding and panic buying causing demand to far outpace the relative trickle of gas now getting back out. this supply problem isn't going to just fade away overnight either. it could be a couple weeks before some gas stations receive deliveries. there's a ripple effect that can't be corrected by a return to regular supply levels. did you not pay attention to toilet paper shortages, sanitizer shortages, coin shortages, etc etc etc in 2020?

As of yesterday, 71% of stations in my area were out. Today, I haven't seen any to be had at all.

North Carolina did get hit hard from that illustration..

Yeah this is going to put tankers and fuel supply in a real bind. Being out of gas and stuck until a resupply can be done does suck.. It's the plastic bags I don't understand.. Hell I'd cart trash cans to the gas pumps and use those before I did any stupid shit like that. Just a media tactic anyway I'm sure.. but I've seen footage and tweets of cars igniting because of it lol.

There's got to be a cheaper way. Isn't there some kind of like... Pipeline or something you could send it through?
