What do you do all day?

Recommended Posts

I check statuses of claims, help people fill out complicated forms, explain how different insurance policies work, send out forms, figure out complex billing issues like when cash value is depleted due to cost of insurance rising, send out bills, explain annual statements, fix fucked up policies, answer questions of other reps in support chat..all while arguing with trumptards and white supremacists on Facebook and posting on here.

I also make personal phone calls and work on my bills or pay bills and shit

Wut u do?

I am in food service primarily as cashier and manager, so it typically involves solving grievances and making sure everybody's on task, while also preparing food and handling the highest volume of customer interaction.

It would be an okay job if it paid a living wage, though here the local businesses pay better than others elsewhere, so it could be much worse.

Outside of work, I make music and write, play video games, watch a lot of movies, and cycle.

And drink. I drink too much.

Should also mention I do all that paid work while wearing cute outfits.

Music's a weird process, creatively.

With songwriting, I've heard some call it poetry put to music but it's way too reductive to be true. The music and lyrics are always in conversation, and so writing the lyrics first without music can feel frustrating and often uninspired.

Writing in about 6 different books throughout the day, figuring out what my sales need to be to dig myself out of the hole the last health crap put me in, binge watching on Netflix, and binge reading whatever type of story my brain is obsessed with at the moment.

Thats my dream life 😍

Debt ya not so much but a creative ave to get out of it!

I wanna get into politics one day. I is smart.

Or maybe do something in the public sphere helping folks.

I never wanted to get into politics. But the commissioners here don't do anything to help the community. Only things that they personally benefit from. So, instead of constantly bitching about it, I decided to throw my name in the hat.

It's a different arena. The hardest part for me has been censoring myself. I curse a lot. I tend to call things like I see them. So, I have had to curb my language and really think about things I say, before I say them. Being in the public eye makes you a target. I have had mostly positive write-ups about me in our local newspaper. But I did have one negative one.

I do not agree with most of the things my affiliated party says and does. Just today I made a comment to the person who heads up the local republican party, about women. He had a derogatory statement regarding rape allegations being made by liberals. I took the most offense to that. I don't need their damn support anyways, so I made a decision to let my trap fly open.

check out date for drugs in inventory

call pts regarding drug recalls, late pick ups, issues with insurance, issues with doctors

I should've also mentioned that I've had no formal training for any of it.  My last coding class was in Assembler, around 1986-7.

These days it is mostly make calls and knock on doors, help lazy millenials make calls and knock on doors, and every once in a while go to a lunch to discuss why millenials are being lazy when it comes to making calls and knocking on doors. In anout two weeks I'll be heading to five counties to attend public testing of election equipment.

Are customers really difficult in pharmacies? They tend not to understand regulations at recycling centers and can be really shitty when not getting their way. I'm not sure if a pharmacy would be better or worse. You're not doing a "trash" job so there's probably more respect. You're also not alone so that must help. But you have way more regulations, and you have insurance on top of that. I'm sure you've got to deal with upset people a lot.
