Your favorite time of day?

There is just something about the stillness of the evening....the air, the fading light, a joint, and a glass of whiskey that makes me think I can't possibly do any better than this moment right here right now...

When I worked night shifts, the best time was from about 2:30a-3:45a. The streets were dead, the drunks had wandered off to wherever drunks wander off to when they 'don't have to go home but they can't stay here' , and just everything felt quiet on every level possible. Except in IB because that was the time someone usually would try posting porn. -.-;

Now my favorite time of day is whenever I fall asleep. :D

I like evenings and early mornings before other people wake up because it's sunny and cool out/not deathly hot and it's quiet and I'm usually gearing up for bed around that time so it's kinda like my twilight.

oh for sure dawn when you haven't slept is a magical time.....especially if your walking home after a night out and your watching the world waking up to start it's day...I love the feeling

A few seconds before falling asleep. The logical part of brain is shutting down and it’s like I can see everything for what it really is, insignificant. Then I just let go and drift off.

almost poetic

i like that sense of relief when I wake up in the middle of the night thinking it's almost time to get up, but then i notice it's dark out and see that it's only 3:30 am

haha...strange how good that feels...you lost, but your mind thinks you gained....weird

Hey! I was one of those drunks and I will have you know that time of the night is merely transition time....at least it used to be >.>

I've been thinking of going to get some dope. A nice big fat line up the nose now that the sun has set.

yeah?

how about getting a big bag of chips and binge watching Cowboy Bebop instead B|

truthfully I've been thinking of eating a shotgun barrel and painting the basement ceiling with my brains.

no dope, just death.

well you've certainly found a way to make the dope option seem attractive, but lets just keep throwing out ideas....maybe we'll settle on something less Kurt Cobain-y

I like when it's early in the morning and all the light there is, is light blue, and I can go outside without having to worry about seeing anyone else. Sometimes it's got a cool breeze to enjoy, sometimes it's just barely raining. In the spring when things start to grow flowers they look extra beautiful, and it's the grace period before still being awake that late starts to become a problem for the rest of the day (it starts being a problem immediately after it gets brighter).

Best feeling is that time of evening around early fall when the days are still warm but the nights are starting to cool off, the last crickets are lazily chirping.

Sit out on the back porch, preferably with some friends, maybe a nice firepit going, beer in hand. Winter's coming but it's nice now.

Depends on the time of the year. Right now, because it's warming up, I like the morning for work, afternoon for being out and about and reading, and night for television and movies.

Really any point where the skies are dimly lit but early morning edges out evening since the armpit of summer has usually receded its farthest in the early morning.  It's also quiet and easy to feel like you have the whole world to yourself.  I'd love to go out and get a few burgers and then go somewhere up high to sit and watch the skies.  Bonus points if it's raining.

I love evening, early morning.  I like hearing my steps hit the pavement.  I always have.

Late afternoon/evening time is usually a pretty tranquil and satisfying time, but only if you've been working all day. I still get that feeling somewhat because its on the brink of summer time, but I don't do much besides house work and music shit so its not nearly as satisfying or fulfilling.
