Naraku4656
i've remembered this commercial almost in its entirety since i first saw it when i was a kid. someone who used to watch me and my sister used to have this snowglobe thing that used to play the song from this ad and i remember seeing it on tv too
tsar4
Lots of them. Soda, beer, frozen foods, cigarettes (on tv), drag strips ("SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!") - all sorts of stuff when I was a little kid in the 60s.

tsar4
Yeah, I remember it. But a lot of the stuff I remember was local & involved phone numbers where they used 2 letters at the beginning. Like "Call MO-hawk four-four one hundred, C E T for television". Part of the reason the early MST3K was fun to watch, they had many of the same commercials in their references.

My guess is that they must have pulled in WGN 9 out of Chicago over the air, 'cause there was no way that they would have known all those otherwise. quebecelegy
i remember the final fantasy x-2 commercial by heart. really, a ton of ps2 commercials that would play when i'd watch monday night raw every week in the early 00's. god if i could just go back, i was such a happy kid, even with just my ps1. the ps2 seemed like the end all be all of consoles, and when i finally got one i was on the verge of tears. SwimModSponges
We had this commercial for a furniture store in which a man with a deep voice stood very close to the camera on a black background, his head and shoulders stretching out of the frame. He said he was so big, they named their new sale after him, "Big Clarence." Then a regular guy walks up and says "No Clarence, it's clearance!" Then they just shout "Clearance" and "Clarence" at each other for the rest of the commercial. It was pretty cool.
