I mean, maybe ASA and Toonami have unfairly skewed my perception, but since like 99% of anime openings are in the exact same style of female fronted j-rock or j-pop or whatever... I'm so fucking sick of that shit.

Yes I know there are exceptions, even shown on AS themselves... Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, Samurai Champloo off the top of my head... Trigun's is a British / American variety of rock that's right up my fucking alley... but as far as I know, AS never played that opening. Only know about it from watching on youtube.

I feel like these are the “There are types of Anime fan” moments. Cause I do know fans that skip them everytime. But I’m on the latter side as my con activity every year is the Karaoke room. 😅

Just because he's older doesn't mean he's not a virgin....He's not completely in tune with what sex or foreplay consists of.  I mean in all other aspects, he's an adult but sexually, he's still 13.....Unrealistic actions are still in his grasps....I appreciate the innocence and how he envisions his first time at bat.....It's almost endearing in a weird sort of way....Like a grown man still believing in Santa.

I think the context of the situation is what’s more off-putting for me. Lusting for years over a college friend’s tummy after seeing it once is weird. 

I’m not trying to tear him down or anything. I'm not speaking for gpcat here.  The way you talk about fetishizing a woman's body, even though you're not necessarily entertaining perverted thoughts, is disconnected.  By definition, foreplay is supposed to be enjoyable for both parties, and talking about it only in terms of how you enjoy it is a serious red flag.  At the very least, you're coming across as obtuse to women when you discuss fetishizing one without having any other contact with her. At worse, you're playing into all the fears women legitimately have about being objectified and, consequently, abused.

I was not talking about foreplay with that girl, I was talking about in general. Sometimes I think about how some of my sexual desires started. I just described how that one started. I don't know, I think what sparked this is I made a post and had to leave the house, when I came back a bunch of posts were made about it by a bunch of people and I wasn't there to explain or defend myself and so assumptions were made, and I felt attacked, and in turn I made more assumptions responding to a bunch of stuff all at once.

I didn’t chide anyone. I just have my opinion that he OFTENTIMES seems skeezy. It’s not this one time scenario. Fuck all y’all.
