if we're talking about jw, i honestly couldn't tell that much difference between the black and the red.

that being said, i think i preferred the red. it was smoother.

but then i also prefer blends over single malts, so i'm not really a purist.

There's nothing wrong with a good blend, even if you're a purist.  Johnny Walker is the Jack Daniels of scotch, but unlike Jack, there are enough varieties that there is something for just about everyone you enjoy.

Whiskey is gross by its very nature.

Overrated beverage.

The only one I've actually enjoyed was Pendleton's Canadian whiskey.

No it’s not. I love whisky cocktails especially

Because it's less refined than blue?. If you're not much of a whiskey drinker, you're going to be more susceptible to robustness.

I drink plenty of whisky I think. I mean I drank all of it. It just didnt feel like robustness

I like Black label more than Blue or Gold. Not more than Green though.

I guess I just don’t like it or something happened

It's a nice way of saying harshness.  I mean whiskey isn't a wine - the "stronger" flavors are going to be harsher.

What I didn’t like was the real aged flavor. It seemed super strong like it tasted like the environment it was in. Which can be cool but idk it was funky to me in this case

Aged flavor?  Are you talking the peetiness of it (from the peet the used burn the barrels)?

I don't think anything happened, it's not for everyone.  They used to make a Double Black that was really good, had a nice smoky flavor, but I'm no whiskey expert, so my tastes could be trashxD

I have never tried any of these. I'm one of those heathens who drinks Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey Whiskey.

Welcome back, Poof!

I can't drink sweet stuff like that cuz two things happen. I get drunk quickly and badly hungover the next day.  xD

I've had red, black, double black and green. Don't think I've tried gold before, though I did had a taste of the blue label, the most expensive label.

I liked double black cuz it had a distinct smokey flavor.

I thought blue and gold just wasn't as smooth as black or green.
