And just to add fuel to a needless fire, I have heard people say 'grab a cart' and 'grab a basket' at my store. They are shopping carts and hand baskets, respectively.

As someone who currently works a grocery store the correct answer is all of the above it doesn't matter what you call them, I hear the words, buggies, carts and baskets every single day
