The last Quarter Pounder I ate from McDonald’s very nearly killed me, it felt like.

Idk what it is, but McDonald’s makes me feel so sick after eating it.

I had the traditional burgers and hot dogs. (My brother Jamie's work cooked yesterday and he gave some to my mom; she chose to bring them over.) I don't have to cook today! Woot! (Though I was going to fix some slow cooker ribs. I'll that tomorrow.)

I had spaghetti last night (w/lots of sauce), watermelon and edamame.

That sounds so good. (Maybe not the edamame, but only because I'm hesitant to try it.) Spaghetti's one of my absolute favorite foods, too. And I looooooove extra spaghetti sauce on top.

Today would’ve been the perfect day to fire up the grill (since that’s what you’re supposed to do on the 4th), but it’s been pretty rainy here lately, including today.

Yeah, it rained here, too, at least for a little bit.

Lasagna

That sounds so good. I haven't had that in quite a while.

I had chicken and dumplings.

Filet Minion, baked potato w/cheddar cheese, salad & a cookie.

That sounds so good!

My dinner has the opposite reaction:  zucchini casserole w/ kimchi.  It’s a vegan dish and I love it.  Although the imagery is probably :distraught:

Making chili, I've decided to step it up and use fresh peppers and onions instead of the frozen seasoning blend. I figured it was time to put that cutting board to use.

Meatball marinara. Bleh, didn’t care for it.

Marinara is often sweet and I think meatballs as being in a saltier, preferably cheesy, sauce.

Guacamole

I'm not a big eater when it's hot out.

I’ve never been a fan of guacamole, but I’ve probably just never had it the right way.

I’m also not a big eater when it’s hot out. :headspinning:

Also, I was wrong about having a cold. I think it was just a bad allergy day for me.

Yes, I know that this thread is supposed to be about dinner, but it’s mine to derail, if I so choose. 🤪

I know exactly what you mean. I can’t eat those anymore, though. They always taste spoiled to me, even if I just bought them.

More for me.

Oh good!  I was thinking you had my kind of luck getting sick right before a big trip.  I'm glad you were wrong :LithiumSmileyLaugh:

For the longest time I wasn't big on it either, avocadoes in general, Idk what's changed but I really like it now.  Plus avocado is a brain food...I feel like I need all the help I can get XD

Thank you so much. And don’t worry, I usually have very little good luck…sometimes. :LithiumSmileySad::LithiumSmileyLaugh: I will definitely be bringing some Zyrtec with me, though.

And once again, our twin powers have increased exponentially. You have no clue how grateful I am for that. There are actually plenty of foods I hated when I was younger, but love now. I also need a lot more brain power.
