I don't even get what he means, is he alleging fraud or...?

Idk wtf he’s saying either. Is he suggesting that elections should be based on feelings and not the number of votes counted?

It's setting up the defense for later on this year when the supreme court decides that the state is allowed to override the will of the electorate if they so choose.

Just because democrats get more votes in a state doesn't mean they should win that state. It's the voice of the regular american that matters, and isn't fair that a few small clusters can over-ride the will of the entire state just because there are more people in them.

It’s amazing to me that the side screeching about voter fraud and the unfairness of elections the most are the same fuckin people manipulating districts, and enacting legislation that makes it difficult for democrats to win.  Maybe that’s why they scream fraud?  Because they know they have their thumbs on the scales and losing still is unfathomable to them?

They always show the same dumb maps of red surrounded by bits of blue and you can’t convince them that land doesn’t vote that people vote. I can’t blame them for the confusion though, cuz during presidential elections it is kinda land that votes when some states are more important than others and those states are among the least populated.

“wHaT dO u wAnT? mOb RoOl?!?”

yes yes I want mob rule lets give it a try over this minority rule, holding us hostage bullshit

Well they're doing it the right way, within the rules, as opposed to the other party and their plan of

*checks notes*

having less crazy and/or shitty candidates

Coming into the election I said that Walker will win in a runoff.

I think Im going to change that prediction. The main reason is Trump. With him announcing his candidacy it will help Warnock get out the vote. Trump is the single most radioactive politician in our nation, and its going to cost the GOP another race in Georgia.

So Ill say that the end result in the Senate is a 51-49 Democratic majority.

If that happens, expect the GOP to redouble their efforts to declare Don a loser come primary season.  Which would admittedly be hilarious.

I actually think that if Walker goes down in the runoff then that dooms Trumps chances. Theres already been a lot of movement away from Trump within the GOP. If one of his hand-chosen guys goes down right after he announced his own presidential campaign then the moniker of "LOSER!!!" will stick to him hard.

At this point Trump is like your noisy Ex who you dumped because they are a total loser. They wont shut up though and keep sending you annoying texts trying to get back together. You just want them to go away, but they wont, so you wind up potentially having to get a restraining order.

Nancy Pelosi not running for leadership. Even though she promised after 2018 to only serve two more terms as leader, I bet what made her decision for her was the hammer attack on her husband and the Republican reaction to it.

I'm alright with that.  As of late she seemed more interested in scoring imaginary political points then doing tangible good.

Good.

Not the hammer part.

The no more Pelosi in a leadership position part.

The silver lining of losing the House is Pelosi retiring. She is older than Biden and should have retired years ago.

She's not retiring, just giving up the leadership of the Democratic caucus.

Meh, she's as much of a fossil as Yertle is. But at least Yertle has served a single semi-decent purpose - he kept Skeletor from taking over for now.

Maybe they can have a leader now that actually creates good ideas instead of "what would look like the best possible soundbite on tonight's news?"

Sureeeee looks like Walker is toast. All the polls, donations, and momentum are clearly on Warnocks side.

Its going to be a 51-49 Democratic majority in the Senate next year.

Interestingly, Trump called off a rally in GA as well. Thats another clear sign that not only is Walker toast, but Trump probably recognizes that he is in serious danger of being blamed for yet another GOP loss.

The important thing is that Mitch McConnell will remain Senate minority leader and will continue to help screw over people by pushing CRs that run through Sept. 2023....

Even more important, Ginguy will spend the entire time blaming Democrats.

What is he going to do when Trump is gone for real?  He has to know by now that Trump is the losing horse.

Just quoting this again for posterity.

I would think the Republicans eviscerating the federal budget and/or shutting the government down to try to tarnish the current presidency in advance of 2024 would probably harm more people more than adopting status quo CRs.

I don't know why you think they'd care about that.

Too bad their voting base is, you know, fucking stupid.

Cry because senpai never noticed him.

Well, he just has to be the white supremacist +1 for a certain someone so they can have dinner at Mar-a-Lago.  It's guaranteed to work.

I'm really hoping they publish the tax records now that they have them. Those oughta be fun to see.

Not sure they could do that, but they most certainly can hand them over to the DOJ.

For myself, I don't really need to see them. It's almost a guarantee that it's a mush-up of lies, Big Mac receipts used as 'business expenses and inflated losses that would have put anyone in the poor house if they were real and not someone claiming to also own massive chunks of real estate that go up in value immediately after tax season.
