Gee if only there were some laws on the books in Chicago to control who can and can't have guns....

You mean like laws for.... mandatory background checks with no loopholes, universal red flag laws, and insurance / liability requirements for ownership?

You are so right.

Texas wants everyone to run around with all the guns, no permits, no gun safety classes and no laws to distinguish what is a gun and what's a rocket launcher because that might mean someone can't have a gun that just happens to launch rockets.

And Texas thought it had the right to sue other states that didn't vote the same as Texas because everything should be Texas. And Texas is big Republican snowflake territory. Republican snowflakes in general are all about those guns. Anything that even hints of responsibility when it comes to guns is 'bad' and an 'attack on the 2nd Amendment!'

Using that 'logic' , are you attempting to claim that there should be gun laws? Because that's going against the 'muh guns!' crowd that is so important to maintaining that 'tourist-y' flavor at the Capital. :|

Speaking of gun pushing psychos, my spam box is catching at least 3 e-mails a week so far from groups claiming I need to get my carry permit NOW before the liberals take all the guns away. Because they are going to take all the guns away. And they can't do that if you defend yourself. So get guns. :| I almost miss the invitations to OnlyFans, Viagra ads, and horny-chicks-in-your-area-now spam. They appeal to the same knobs as the gun pushers but at least there's a level of entertainment about the gendering.

Tucker Carlson doesn’t gaf about the constitution.  The Trump administration tried many times to shit all over the constitution, but 2A is where Carlson  draws the line?  That’s when he becomes somewhat of a selfawarewolf, especially when he got into the “imagine if Obama....” part.   He’s a clown.

Yep. Texas is gonna Texas. Texas may be big snowflake country, but Oklahoma has them beat, BY FAR. I literally had a dude melt in front of me yesterday about the fact that he wouldn’t spend $200 on his kid for what the kid wanted for their birthday. Conversation went like this:

Me: “Welcome in, what can I do for ya?”
SF (snowflake): “Getting my kid a video game-something called a Swatch?”
Me: “Ahh. Okay. A Switch? What quest-“
SF: “It for [their] birthday. I wanna know how much.”
Me: “They start at $200.”
SF (melting down): “What? That’s just stupid. I can get more guns for that. They ain't worth that much.”
Me: “I get it. They are no-“
SF (still melting down): “I can’t believe kids want this. They ain’t…no. I know guns. They gonna get a gun and be happy. They can protect themselves against ni-“ (he looks at me)
Me:
SF:
Me:
SF: “I d-d-did-“
Me: “Have a wonderful day.”

An update on the delight that is Republican Snowflake GUNS FER ALL governance, North Dakota there is no permits required, no registration required, no licensing required and no need for a special permit to carry publicly required. Crazy people are allowed to get their guns back and minors under 15 are allowed to carry guns as long as they being supervised by a guardian. You are allowed to shoot to kill anyone who enters your home and said 'castle doctrine' expands in August to include literally anywhere you feel 'threatened' . Good ol' Stand Your Ground. Which honestly is going to translate into anywhere a parking spot is in dispute guaranteed. And you can carry 'unloaded' guns openly wherever you want because 'muh rights!' North Dakota has passed a law stating they don't have to follow any federal laws passed after January 1st if they don't wanna.

So....right now there is some dude stalking a bike path in a local park dressed in military fatigues, a bullet-proof vest, and a gun. He'll sit on various park benches and stare at the people going by - joggers, dog walkers, little kids on bikes, people in the homes that surround the bike path. The police have been called on him numerous times but because his gun is unloaded at the time they get to him, the police can't do anything about it because the NRA-paid for laws protect him being a creepy terroristic asshole. He has reportedly told the police that that is how he dresses and he is not about to change anything.

Honestly, he's waiting for August 1st so he can claim he's just protecting himself when he starts shooting. :|

@katt_goddess That is Texas, as well. SAME. EXACT. THING. It’s happening in northern Texas in a park outside of Denton.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some jackass playing mental Call of Duty in his head in every possible bigger city right now, wearing his camo bullshit and pretend-penis-in-a-holster while stalking and staring at people.

That MyPillow crack addict has declared that August 13th will be the day that Biden gets removed from office to allow the 'rightful' king to return to his home. :| Covid-Delta don't fail us now. :|

This actually just happened in Dallas. Last night. Then, he started “No Russian” in real life. The reason it didn’t make national news is because the body count was “too low for a mass shooting”, which is sounds ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INSANE.

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin woman accidentally shot a friend while using the laser sight on a handgun to play with a cat, authorities said. A criminal complaint charging the 19-year-old woman with negligent use of a weapon said she was visiting a Kenosha apartment on Tuesday afternoon where a 21-year-old man had brought a handgun.

I know it's not a mass shooting, but I didn't want to make a thread for it.

Quote

The 15-year-old Oxford High School sophomore accused of fatally shooting three classmates and injuring at least eight other people used a handgun his dad purchased four days earlier on Black Friday, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said late Tuesday evening.

[...]

"When they took it from him, he had a loaded firearm. He was coming down the hall. That again, I believe, interrupted what potentially could have been seven more victims," Bouchard said.

[...]

Bouchard did not name the suspect, noting he is a minor and has not yet been charged with a crime. He said the suspect, who is being held at a county juvenile detention facility, and his parents have retained an attorney and declined to speak with law enforcement.

[...]

Someone posted photos of the gun allegedly used at Oxford High School and targets on social media in the days leading up the Tuesday's shooting. Bouchard confirmed the suspect appeared to make an online post with an image of the gun used, but the sheriff repeatedly stressed his office was not aware of any credible threats of violence ahead of the shooting.

"It's my understanding, again, that this was a recent weapon purchase, that he had been shooting with it. And they posted pictures of (a) target and the weapon," Bouchard said.

Multiple parents told the Free Press thattheir (sic) children enrolled at the school heard rumors of some violence ahead of school Tuesday; some took it seriously enough to prevent their children from attending classes in person.

Dad bought him a gun, he posted threats online, when cops found him they took the gun from him instead of opening fire, and his family is lawyering up.

Yup.

Ethan Crumbley was charged as an adult with first-degree murder, terrorism, and related gun crimes, and transferred from Children's Village, a juvenile detention center, to the Oakland County Jail.

If convicted, he faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Crumbley was charged with four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, one count of terrorism causing death and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

the teen is accused of killing four people — Hana St. Juliana, 14; Tate Myre, 16; Madisyn Baldwin, 17, and Justin Shilling, 17 — and injuring seven others, including a teacher, with a 9mm Sig Sauer SP 2022 pistol.

Ten shootings have taken place on Michigan K-12 school property causing injury or death since 2014, according to Gun Violence Archive data.

The what....

*Google*

Lmfao, white supremacists under the notion that native born Americans are being replaced by foreigners?

......I mean.... I'm really struggling here to see how these people have so much power.... they do know they didn't succeed in genociding the real natives and we are all aware they exist.

But fine, I guess at this point to be a native you just must be born here...but that statement hurt my brain when I saw it

They're so deep in their delusions, it's insane. Then I guess he couldn't kill themselves at the end.

Law enforcement can take these violent racist into custody, no problem .... nobody panics in the heat of the moment and accidentally discharges their weapon on these people  .... but man they can accidentally kill black people all day.

The "replacement theory" is one of Tucker Carlson's favorite boogey men if I remember correctly.

I doubt he'll get in any sort of trouble aside from one of the Murdochs saying "hey Tucker, would you mind not saying that for a few weeks until people forget about this like they usually do?"

So due to his "manifesto"...I can only assume he gunned down minorities (I'll verify when and if they release the victims) so no way they were gonna shoot him in retaliation.

Probably got Burger King after they picked him up.

I read he drove all that way to specifically kill black people and even if he didn't have the manifesto, his gun is enough to assume he didn't show up to shoot people at random.

Then I'm sure they have to separate him in jail for his own protection so he doesn't get beaten to death in the jail.

See, I'm having flashbacks of when they showed roots at school, only now....never mind...names of victims released, if you want to see the shooter's video, check my FB wall before I get sent to FB jail.

One more thing. The feds spoke to the dude that sold him the firearm.  He didn’t see nothing wrong with an 18 yo getting an assault rifle or wtf he purchased. That’s the gd fuckin problem with this country. It’s not unusual for kids to purchase weapons.

Background checks don't do shit when the murderous racist is only 18.  It appears the school knew he was a psycho and didn't tell the local DA.

His parents or guardians knew too but didn’t do shit to help him despite having the means to do so.

More than that... racism is not something you get radicalized into, its something you learn from the beginning and that crackpots can exploit.  It takes a village to create a white supremacist.

There was a domestic terrorist bill working its way through the house of course all the Republicans voted “no”, except one that crossed the aisle, four didn’t vote  this bill would make a domestic terrorism task force with the DHS

https://www.newsweek.com/full-list-203-republicans-voted-against-domestic-terrorism-bill-1708018?amp=1

why do republicans not want domestic terrorists investigated and locked up?  Could it be because that’s their voter base?

yes, that’s exactly why
