how many of you use the same posting style you used on AS?

I'd say I changed dramatically while on the AS boards. From 2004 to around 2008, I was generally very argumentative, insulting, etc. Around 2008 I just lost the urge to be like that and mellowed out considerably. I would say I still have a relatively similar posting style to the one I developed starting in 2008. Although in recent years I have slipped a liiiiiiittle bit back into arguing, but not at all like I used to.

you know what?   i think a few of us have a completely better grip on communicating what they mean to say, to be contrary to what i originally said

like sponges.  nowadays sponges tells you exactly what hes thinking.  a few other people do too.

on AS some people didnt use personal perspective at all, spoke only in fact not opinion, and anonymously trolled (thats what babbling basically was)

IB was a place that eliminated self esteem,  that wanted to keep everyone that was ignored quiet, and had that way of just always making you feel unwelcome.

now people like sponges, just say what they are thinking.  I havent seen Kat in a while but now she is very forward and direct, same attitude but much more direct.

others like starpanda and the exact same personality they were.

some are different i guess is what im really saying though

yes, what i am saying is that the trolls think they have a lot more power.  i hate trolls.

My posting style has evolved dramatically over the past 14 and a half years as I've aged as a person.

Thankfully there is no archive to compare.

ive seen archives of AS with me in them.  hard to imagine why someone would have saved them or if the whole sites archives are possible to access, w/e

dont know, dont care..  but i hope somehow you are right and that no archive exists, but then what are the archives ive seen?

The internet "wayback" archive randomly archives pages at random intervals, so there are threads archived here and there from random dates, but it's not comprehensive.

are there any AS insiders that post here?

I'd say my posting style hasn't changed all that dramatically. I still line break, for instance.
There's probably people who can testify other things have changed about the posts themselves, but I'm not fully aware of those changes.

There was a bit where We used a different color...

There's a rather large distinction between Our '04 persona and Our '10 persona. Much less of one between '10 and '18, though it can be found if one cared enough to look.

Though that speaks more of the ends to which Our linguistic structures aim for rather than the (more relevant to the question you posed) means by which We compose them.

Posting style changed dramatically multiple times from 2004 to 2016, a lot of growing up occurred during those years.

Then, in late summer of 2017, my son died. He created this account originally and made all those posts to earn its renown, now I just try to honor his memory and carry on his legacy with every post I make.

I held a seance the other day and your son told me he wants you to eat a Big Mac.

Disgusting, sociopathic, sick joke.

The dire existential ramifications the beef industry has on our environment must be beyond your comprehension, otherwise you would realize what a destructive nihilistic act it truly is to eat a burger.

I don't think my general posting style has changed all that much really. I still tend to read and lurk a lot. And posting is either me being an asshat for general giggles or if someone has a question / concern I might be able to answer / help with. I do feel more freer to post here though since anything I say will no longer likely to be considered some sort of reflection on [ as ] / WS [ for better or worse ] .

I have posted cleavage too. :D:D:D
