Still Me Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 make your case.....hell add some...like....ahh real monsters....are you afraid of the dark....or pete and pete
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Out of the poll choices, Rocko's Modern Life. However, my favorite was Animaniacs.
GunStarHero Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Whatever that porn show on Cinemax was that I watched back then. Or Johnny Bravo, but really weren't they the same thing?
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Whatever that porn show on Cinemax was that I watched back then. Or Johnny Bravo, but really weren't they the same thing? Johnny Bravo never got any, so no.
GunStarHero Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 There's no way that guy didn't get something. Maybe not any women, but definitely something.
Guest Zintar Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Ren and Stimpy. Also liked Space Goofs a lot. That show was done by some former Ren and Stimpy folks... Bob Camp and Jim Gomez (pretty sure those names are correct).
viperxmns Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 My favorite shows out of the poll are Ren and Stimpy and Rocko, though which is the best 'kids' show is another thing I suppose
Mix Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 This is an impossible choice for me to make...among the current options and in general...there was so much goodness then
Still Me Posted January 22, 2017 Author Posted January 22, 2017 ooooh man i forgot about that show....brooklin was my favorite
Skiles Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I guess it's more of an early-00s show (even though it started airing in 1999), but shit man, Courage the Cowardly Dog was a great show. It was creepy and dark but funny. Ed, Edd n' Eddy was one of my favorites too, but I don't know if it holds up now. Maybe it does.
Skiles Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Batman: The Animated Series *micdrop* Overrated. *mic pick-back-up*

CAC Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Whatever that porn show on Cinemax was that I watched back then. There it is.
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Dexter's Laboratory and KaBlam! for cartoons and Clarrisa Explains It All and Kenan and Kel for live action.
Chapinator_X Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Either Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, or All That. Dexters Lab and PPG were close too.
Distortedreasoning Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 no power rangers? missing so much more :brownbottle:
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 no power rangers? missing so much more :brownbottle: I must be the only 90s kid that does not like Power Rangers. I mean, its' OK, I guess.
StarPanda Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Rugrats, PPG, Cat Dog those stand out to me
Skiles Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 oh, it holds up... O0 I'll have to go back and watch it, then.
Distortedreasoning Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I must be the only 90s kid that does not like Power Rangers. I mean, its' OK, I guess. i honestly didnt know any kid at that time that was my age and not into it.
scope Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I hated the Power Rangers tbh....even as a 10-12 year old I found it to be cringe worthy level cheesy
Distortedreasoning Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 10-12 might have been too old for their demographic.
scope Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I don't remember exactly how old I was when it came out but I was still in grammar school and most kids my age loved it so I'm pretty sure I fit the demographic.
molarbear Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I always liked Wild and Crazy kids.... and Salute Your Shorts
Distortedreasoning Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 i wanna say it debuted either 92 or 93. all i know i dressed up as a power ranger that halloween
scope Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 i wanna say it debuted either 92 or 93. all i know i dressed up as a power ranger that halloween Oh I would have been around 7 or 8 then....but I feel like it was still popular by the time I was 11...kids were crazy about that show but I couldn't get into all that live action jumping around...guess I was always more of a cartoon fan.
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Rocko, of those at least. Darkwing Duck was my 5 year old selfs favorite shit circa 1992 though.
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I don't dislike Power Rangers because it's live action. I dislike it because it's fucking corny. All of those fake ass costumes you can see the zipper on and that lamely portrayed violence. I was far more a Clarissa Explains It All dude. That Darling girl was funny.
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Clarissa was lumped in with stuff like Alex Mack and...shudders...Hey Dude for me back in the day. I can't adequately express the disappointment and pain 5 - 7 year old me would feel having to struggle through those shows to get to the good stuff. Only 13 or 36 channels back then. I still remember the joy when we finally got Cartoon Network and Comedy Central. And what else could I do? Go outside? Hell no! As you might expect however my older sister was a big Clarissa fan.
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 We (Me and me siblings) were required to go outside because the common consensus was that we were watching too much TV. I was okay with it (bowling and softball were admittedly fine memories of my youth) just as long as I got home by 8 PM to watch CN. After all, Dexter's Laboratory was the Futurama of my childhood (Not to mention the crush on Dee-Dee I had at the time).
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I was never big on sports, playing anyway I grew to enjoy watching baseball and football later. I would go outside occasionally of course, but there weren't many kids where I lived and one in particular was an asshole. He was closer in age to my little sister anyway so I was a 3rd wheel of sorts when I was with them, but I digress. Loved Dexter, Cow and Chicken, all the Cartoon Cartoons really. As I said finally getting Cartoon Network was an awakening. I mean Toonami! Reboot, Tenchi, DBZ! And...occasionally...Sailor Moon! And later in the early 2000s Adult Swim!
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Toonami was the whole reason I knew what anime was in the first time. It seems like only yesterday that I was witnessing Ryoko flirt with Tenchi, Tuxedo Mask battling Zoicite, Majin Buu fight Kid Buu , Yusuke punch the alien out of that guy and Terra betray the Titans.
André Toulon Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Was Invader Zim in the 90s? If not, I'ma go with Freakazoid.
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Zim was early 2000s. Freakazoid was 90s though. Funnily enough I still remember it was the very first show I ever watched on Cartoon Network. Came home from school one day, noticed the channels were different, and bam! Freakazoid.
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Since we did not have The WB at the time, I never heard of Freakazoid prior to it coming to Cartoon Network. Relax-O-Vision was truly a lesson in the frustration of network censorship.
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 We had WB, but I never really watched it on there for whatever reason. Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, and Pinky and the Brain were the big three I'd watch on WB.
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Pokemon, Animaniacs and Xiaolin Showdown were my top 3. I also remember them airing Mr. Men for a really short time in the summer before Pokemon replaced it for fall syndication (Airing immediately after Animaniacs).
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I'm old enough to remember pre-WB Animaniacs. It, Tiny Toons and Batman TAS were in a block on...I wanna say Fox.
Danger_Jules Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Right. Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Batman did all originally air on Fox Kids. Tiny Toons only aired on WB for reruns.
MEXobiologist Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 dunno if it was mentioned, i really liked Salute Your Shorts and was bummed there wasn't more of it.
Zenigundam Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Swat Kats was better than all of those turds.
BUU8800 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 dunno if it was mentioned, i really liked Salute Your Shorts and was bummed there wasn't more of it. It was probably the only live action nick show I really enjoyed. Zeke the Plumber...
