The original had a lot more filler if I remember correctly, but it seems pretty on point in quality, just like the remake of Takahashi's other series, Urusei Yatsura you might like if you're enjoying this one.

The tonal whiplash between painting dolls and blondie bouncing about in a bikini is real, watched season one it was aight, at least the animation was good.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I find Smiling Friends odd for the sake of being, depressing subject matter and just not all that funny. This looks to be more classic sitcom-y so idk maybe it'll be alright to throw on.

Id rather watch Satoshi Kon's entire catalogue multiple times than watch any Food Wars. Food Wars sucks a big ol' bag o dicks.

I finished a bit over half of Somali and the Forest Spirit, I liked it for the most part but it was just a touch heavy on the melodrama for me.

He's supposed to be playing Ogami Itto's son Daigoro, although it's misleading he has the big top knot and robes. Daigoro never dressed like that in the manga he had a much smaller topknot and not nearly as fancy an outfit.

Second Mushishi and Aria since they're pretty much my favorite anime of all time 😄

I'll start with Gintama, not only is it 250+ eps of some of the best comedy and voice acting in the industry but it's impossible to not have your mood brightened by the cast and situations. They will also probably associate with your pain.

Fury won the first fight and Wilder got exposed further in this one, Wilder isn't much of a boxer he just has one really hard punch in his overhand right, Fury didn't let him set it up much in the last fight and didn't at all in this fight, hopefully this will stop all this noise about Wilder being an "even harder puncher than Tyson" because Tyson had power in every punch from every angle, Wilder has it in only one and needs about a mile and a half of room to unleash it

I want to see this one, Your Name. is a decent movie imo but you might be disappointed in it if you go into it buying into the absurd amount of hype for it, if you've seen Shinkai before you pretty much can know what to expect.
