Thanks! Not sure if I’ll get another anime one or taking better time to think about what would be a decent tattoo for the second arm. I’m currently leaning on either one of the boon images from Hades or the “Start” select from 13 Sentinels, but I didn’t want to get a tattoo that felt too much like I got it in the here-and-now and I wanted it to be something I’ll continue to remember significantly in the future like Ghibli & Mononoke. I’m happy it turned out looking great and that the experience was pleasant enough that I wasn’t turned off from considering a second one. I remember the artist was talking about how people would just choose a more painful spot like their ribs and be completely turned off from ever revisiting.

The Scarlet Letter’s problem was that much of the attention to detail was a way to cloak the short length of the plot.

It was San from Princess Mononoke. It took me forever to figure out what I wanted because I kept trying to tie larger meanings to a tattoo. But there was a part of the film that resonated with me that I thought would look wonderful with the watercolor that my tattoo artist specializes in. It also was an anime tattoo that I figured would age well cause her wearing a mask means the artist wouldn’t have to recreate a weird anime face like what happens to a lot of anime character tattoos.

I still need to try them. I hear they’re great with some lime juice.

It’s more that friends and family don’t know I got the tattoo. I also haven’t been as keen on seeing family face-to-face all year long due to the quarantine, hence the seclusion. I’m mostly forced out for groceries or if my hair has gotten too long.

I don’t remember Fox being a part of the Dinosaur Planet mythos until the rebranding, but I guess they were just planning on having Krystal be more prominent in the game. The timing is pretty crazy though with how this came out around the same time the Goldeneye Remaster was uncovered.

At this point, Ex-Arm could be used to soften the blow from High Guardian Spice. Like “You all got angry about this, but hey, at least your eyes don’t bleed.” Or “Now that your eyes have been destroyed, here’s a flash cartoon that couldn’t possibly cause any more retinal damage.”

It’s one of those Hail Mary’s that Your Name tried to pull by trying to get nominated based on success overseas. Unfortunately, it’ll be a painful trek to see what wonderful films end up getting snubbed so that the fucking Croods could be in the top 5. If it’s not Wolfwalkers or Soul, then it’s pretty much just hogging up the space that should’ve gone to Ride Your Wave, A Whisker Away, or the Demon Slayer movie.

The good news is that he sounds like Vic so that it’s not a jarring change for fans of the dub. The bad news is that they’re still operating off the notion that Rohan needs to sound shrimpy and spooky. He’s a bitter asshole writer. A Robbie Daymond or Lucien Dodge type would’ve knocked it out of the park from jump street.

From what I hear, Captain Obi uses his real name, no gimmicks. I don’t see anything that shoots down the idea of Obi’s interest in Shinra, so that sounds about right.

For all the years I’ve known this show existed, I’ve never heard the theme. My mind just defaults to the House theme and is like “I guess it’s kinda like the House theme“.

Once he gets too old to do action films, he’ll probably get approached to do a cooking show for one season. Maybe two given how long the Snoop/Martha one has lasted.
