This Windblume event has been interesting. These side quests remind me of some of the weirder mini games from Kingdom Hearts. I also finally rolled a Venti so now I’ll be playing this more often.

It’s a letdown. You think you’re at your cleanest and then suddenly, a shit will just up and ruin that moment.

It’s better than the Grubhub version of the Saturn Devouring His Child painting that was floating around -

I chased down some stout with Jameson, but both have been surprisingly kind on my head after a night of sleep. -

I think the worst of Zenitsu was the spider arc and that afterwards, he’s much more tolerable. But it’s difficult to gauge since the manga doesn’t have Hiro Shimono’s screeching play out as you thumb through the pages. It took autotuning his voice to make any of that funny. -
what manga publisher do you think pick up the most titles from?

It’s probably an even balance between them all, but I think Yuru Camp and Yotsuba caused Yen Press to get the upper hand. I got Zetsubou-Sensei back when Del Rey still distributed manga, but since it’s now handled by Kodansha, then they’d be in the lead by technicality with that and Quintessential Quintuplets in my collection. -
I don’t think you’ll be happy with this because this song filled me with dread back in the day, but it showed up on Tiktok now so here it goes.

True, a two month gap is a little better than waiting half a year between a theatrical and home release. As much as it sucks to avoid the theaters for the one shounen anime film I’d be happy to see in theaters, the wait for the VOD version is far more painless in comparison to how pre-COVID anime theatrical releases were handled. -

As nice as it is that it’s coming over finally, going to the movies to watch this is suicide. It’s also silly that they’re not giving it a VOD release alongside it. With adjacent theater & VOD releases being the new normal for last year and this year, they’d rather timegate it to get audiences to risk getting COVID and get their money’s worth at the theaters. Come in cosplaying as Tanjiro and come out two weeks later looking like Kagaya. -
It’s not horrible, which is more than I can say for a lot of anime films. That’s to say not to expect any “so bad it’s funny” moments because it’s just a hyper condensed version of the first arc.

It’s in dividends. For every wonderful person in the world, there’s like five others that want to ruin your day.

Looks like it’s making its way here in theaters in April and June for VOD. https://www.indiewire.com/2021/03/demon-slayer-mugen-train-us-release-date-1234623934/ I’m surprised that it ended up landing an R rating, but violence does end up being policed more overseas so not blurring out slashings probably did it.

It should just be a giant dildo, but I guess a broken window will do.

As someone who enjoys The Warriors, it’s a great film until they get to Coney Island and Luther clanks the bottles. Most of the film is cool, tense fights between rival gangs as they’re going from subway to subway, but Luther is the kind of villain who absolutely sucks the moment they’re expected to have a face-to-face physical confrontation.

I started a Letterboxd account and spent the last half hour freaking out because I realized people by default can reply to your reviews. Now I’m whiskey-drunk have to deal with a defensive reply to my negative review of Frozen 2. -

Why have news outlets tried to engineer a war with millennials and gen z over Eminem when there are people out there that think that American Boy is a cover of a Fortnite parody? -
