I honestly watch more Asian dramas on Netflix than anime, but I know the COVID times helped to get people to notice some of their animation like Avatar and Blood of Zeus.

Him and Ahmed Best had targets painted on them after Star Wars fans blamed them for The Phantom Menace being poorly written. Ahmed was lucky to have been able to reach a point where he overcame thoughts of suicide from all the aggressive Jar Jar hatred and became better engrained within newer Star Wars properties. Unfortunately, Jake Lloyd hasn’t had the same kind of bounce back, primarily because of his mental health battle. It sucks too because imagine how fucked up anyone would end up if they were a child who was made out to be the reason why a film in a beloved movie series was bad. And because of this, their classmates mocked/bullied them regularly while older strangers wished the worst on them. Even after his reckless driving arrest, floods of “now this is podracing” jokes were commonplace.

I haven’t seen the third film, but the casino planet and Luke’s Kylo fight in The Last Jedi really blew.

Surprisingly I’ve gotten pretty good at drunk gaming. I played a phenomenal round of Splatoon 2 and got far in Hades while drunk.

I suppose it was inevitable given how much of her career was spent capitalizing on getting dudes to whack off to her.

I had a boss who was addicted to Burger King and kept talking about deliberately avoiding having to eat his girlfriend/partner’s food because he already made his BK run. I don’t think his ride was fancy, but he lived in a private community so I’m not surprised that you’ll find rich people that get hung up on the fast food they can now go crazy about because they have enough money to live out the Ritchie Rich/Trumpian fantasy of eating as much fast food as they want.
