  1. Ever since I was a teenager all I've listened to are CDs I buy, classic rock radio and just exploring what ever metal or classic heavy rock I find on the Internet. It took a bit of time for NIN to become old enough to be considered "classic rock." I've never been into Pandora or Spotify playlists, or what have you. I actually stopped listening to the radio altogether a few years ago, instead electing to listen to music from my phone while driving. The night on the way home I heard the Closer remix my phone died so I listened to the radio, lol.
  2. I looked that up and it wasn't it..... I believe this was it, but.... There's nothing on this page to indicate it's anything other than the official album version, but it sounds so much different to the radio/video version I've heard a thousand times over the years. Maybe it's different in other genres, but in rock and metal the differences between the radio edit and album versions usually don't go beyond censoring naughty words and cutting down the length. Am I going insane (radio... haha)? Is this the official version? This is a lot different than the radio version, right? Am I just imagining all this?
  3. I mean your insurance provider.
  4. Seriously though, what's the name? I'm dead serious I need to know to stay far away from these people.
  5. Who's your provider? I need to know so I never sign up with them.
  6. I'm speechless.
  7. There were like additional sounds, the drums sounded a little different, I think there might've been some different vocal effects.... Those piano notes at the end had a different sound..... It sounded a lot less "stripped down."
  8. I hated pretty much all nu-metal..... As for NIN, my exposure to industrial music is very limited, other than NIN biggest hits, probably just a Ministry song or two.... but it doesn't seem to be a genre for me. BTW, did NIN ever release a remix of Closer? I heard it on the radio maybe a month ago and it sounded very different from the way I remembered it..... and I actually enjoyed this new version much more than the old version....
  9. You know what you need to do.... Take the games out of your bedroom and hook them up to the new behemoth. 😁
  10. I had to check this out immediately when I saw you post it. Definitely not a cover for purists (due to weaker guitar solos and dropping out of a lot of instrumental sections) but it was surprisingly really good, the vocals especially. The organ was a nice touch too.
  11. Probably happened, though I can't say I remember it myself. But there was at least one Comedy Central Roast where they were both guest roasters. That seems like the best atmosphere for someone like Martha to say nizzle to Snoop's face.
  12. I hope they'll bring Futurama back to a reasonable hour. For a while it's only been on from 4:00 - 5:00 AM.
  13. Are screen savers still a thing?
  14. What is this called when Chappelle's Show was at it's peak cultural relevance and every white dude was going around saying "I'm Rick James, bitch." out loud irl?
  15. The only thing raisins are good in is trail mix.
  16. Have the doctor write you a note.
  17. For some reason I always want to sing it as "I wanna know... Have you ever seen Lorraine?"
  18. You're on painkillers in a hospital bed. You are forgiven. 😁
  19. @Vela why the downvote? That's fucking Ultros, man!
  20. *poses for picture* Did you get my good side?
  21. I wanna know... Have you ever seen the rain?
  22. Probably no one else is going to care about this, but it kinda pissed me off when Carl referred to the Scorpions as East German. They were always West German. If they were from East Germany they literally would have never been allowed to leave the soviet bloc until 1989 when the Berlin wall fell. But in reality the Scorpions were already playing world tours and globally releasing their albums on major labels in the 70s.
  23. That was like 15 years ago. If I ever knew, I forgot.
