  1. I highlighted this part of the article earlier in the thread: Though it is entirely possible it's just stilgar being stilgar.
  2. Over the summer Mountain Dew had a pineapple flavor, I believe it was called Baja Blast Gold. It was pretty decent but not great.
  3. Am I misinterpreting Google translate? Because from what I'm seeing....
  4. How in the flying fuck is it possible that phrase is essentially the same thing in Japanese as it is in English?
  5. It kinda feels like it, but in the article was this quote: So maybe it will be worth at least trying. I'm not a big fan of either Sprite or Sierra Mist, and I get my citrus soda fix by various Mountain Dew flavors (and am always up for trying new MD flavors) so I have a feeling I'm probably not going to think much of any new lemon-lime, even if it is a little different from the norm. But who knows.
  6. Hornedlizard being all Brian Griffin over here.
  7. "Salt and vinegar" chips..... Isn't salt basically on all potato chips? Why not just call them "vinegar chips"?
  8. Must've been cold in your house.
  9. Well at least you didn't think deuce was "douche," like.... literally everyone else on this planet (me included).
  10. I believe we call that a "purple nurple."
  11. Where do you live, Opposite Land?
  12. I only know of her because she had/has a show on Comedy Central.
  13. I was never a fan of Incubus (or this entire style), but one of their singles was a softer song that I enjoyed. I think the title had "celestial" or "interstellar" or something in it.
  14. I didn't mind it but when you put it up against something like Cowboy Bebop, it can't compare. But that really speaks more to the quality of Bebop rather than the lack of quality of Space Dandy.
  15. I'm honestly shocked people in this thread are claiming Ginguy has actually responded to them. The last time I got a reply out of Ginguy must've been back when he was a regular in IB. That was a LONG time ago. Literally the only people I see him responding to are katt when she hands his ass to him (even that has been rare as of late) or to MD trying to steer to to the cult. So many of us have tried over and over and over again to have civil debates with him and he just ignores you when you debate him in good faith. There's no point in trying. That's why people respond with "STFU Nazi fascist" because the result is literally the exact same if you were to respond to him in good faith. Radio silence.
  16. @SwimModSponges I definitely remember Staind, I absolutely loathed them when alternative metal and nu-metal were all the rage. I also hated Eve 6 but don't remember their hit(s). (Not gonna watch the clip).
  17. WELP Savage Garden is definitely not my thing.
  18. "I'm not dead." "He says he's not dead." "You're using coconuts." "You make me sad." "...and don't call me Shirley." "Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue." The entirety of Clark Griswald's rant against his boss in Christmas Vacation (complete with "Where's the Tylenol?" at the end). "These go to 11." "I know you think I'm a real dick...cheese...burger, or whatever...."
  19. A lot of 90s/early 2000s bands I always disliked being named in this thread.... Though Mix's don't count cuz like everything he posts is a joke (literally a joke, I bet he envies That_One_Guy as TOG is a professional comedian). Savage Garden though, I don't think I'm familiar with. I know the name, but hell if I know if I actually ever heard a song. Also, Nabs named good bands (expect possibly Savage Garden just because I can't say if they're good or not).
  20. Yes. Diane Sawyer was Dateline.
  21. To me, the most memorable thing Kirstie Alley did wasn't Cheers, it was during an episode of SNL she hosted, a sketch she played a make-up sample lady at a mall, the running gag was when she put the make up on a would-be customer, the customer would exclaim, "It's burning!" and she would go, "Clinique calls it burning, we call it..." and then she'd try to spin the burning into the make-up doing something positive for the skin.
