Two weeks hours later...

I used to have AdBlock Plus and UOrigin working in tandem which blocked all youtube ads, but I started experiencing intense slow down and after a little bit of Googling, the culprit was the Adblock Plus extension. Turned it off, and the slow down is gone. Ads are all over the place now though, including youtube. UBlock origin sucks.
