PenguinBoss Posted July 22 Posted July 22 With the drugs he was doing, he should've been done five decades ago. I feel like people should be less sad and more happy that they got so long with him. 1 Quote
[classic swim] Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Taking down Officer Tenpenny with you all those times was always a blast. Rest easy, sir. 1 Quote
The_annoying_one Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I knew this was coming much sooner rather than later, but it’s still absolutely devastating. 2 Quote

lupin_bebop Posted July 22 Posted July 22 RIP to the Prince of Darkness. Another one that hits me hard as a musician. 2 2 Quote
tsar4 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I knew something was going to happen - Decided to get something from Dunkin on the way to work, price $6.66 I get to the office and the temperature was 66.6F Only fitting that "The Prince of Darkness" dies, I guess. 1 Quote

I think the unsaid portion of his death announcement speaks volumes. I'm not sure if I want to be sad or just appreciate that he might very well have had the opportunity to go out on his own terms while giving something to all the people invested in him and his struggles. It's the same with Robin Williams - do we have a right to be sad in these situations? 3 Quote
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Goodbye to the original singer of my favorite band of all time. I'm so glad they were able to (barely) fit in that last final reunion show including Bill along with Tony and Geezer. A lot of past members of Black Sabbath have died (off the top of my head singers Ray Gillen and Ronnie James Dio and keyboardist Geoff Nichols) but Ozzy is the first of the founding members to go. It's a wonder it took this long. Rest in Peace. 5 Quote

The_annoying_one Posted July 23 Posted July 23 This might seem a little cliched, but I’ll definitely have this playing at least a few times later tonight. 3 Quote

Doom Metal Alchemist Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I'm seeing memes online of him meeting the bat he bit the head off in hell. I just want to stress that Ozzy bit the bat's head off by MISTAKE. He thought that was a fake rubber bat. He did not intend to decapitate any real live bats. The DOVE, on the other hand, he knew damn well it was a real live dove and he bit its' head off on fucking purpose. 3 Quote
discolé monade Posted July 23 Posted July 23 so....trisha paytas. no clue WHO she is...but she's birthing reincarnated babies...from the queen, the pope, and now the prince of darkness... she's almost got a royal flush. 1 Quote

tsar4 Posted Monday at 02:44 AM Posted Monday at 02:44 AM Terri Hemmert (WXRT) played Ozzy's cover of John Lennon's "How?" during "Breakfast With The Beatles". Ashamed to say it took me longer than it should have to recognize Ozzy's voice. 1 Quote

Don't worry, there have been tons of Sabbath fans over the years that don't believe Ozzy is the one singing the Master of Reality version of Solitude. 2 Quote
1pooh4u Posted Monday at 01:26 PM Posted Monday at 01:26 PM IMO Ozzy has one of the most recognizable voices in music. His voice is amazing. lol was watching The Osbournes. Ozzy was hilarious. They had way too many pets too. Crazy house. 😆 3 Quote
