It was one thing when you had McCarthy trying to appease the MAGA idiots. Totally other ball game when its the MAGA idiots trying to appease moderates. Theres a lot of GOP reps from districts that are either purple or outright Blue. They are up for election next year and know that if the House goes full MAGA they will lose.
