Just on the topic of jail, Trump will never spend a day behind bars, win or lose. That entire thing is just entertainment. Call me pessimistic, but that very clear elder brain that most are ignoring on the campaign trail will be used to help him dodge prison if he doesn't win.

His assets will be gutted but he'll be out in some sort of compromising watched care in lieu of actual prison time.

Completely agree more, even if he weren’t running for president, I couldn’t see him ever being imprisoned for sundry reasons,.

Anyone else getting the YouTube ads where there's this peaceful wordless shot of a family on a beach or, like, a fucking oil derrick, and then some bullshit Trumpism non sequitur is displayed? They'd be hilarious if I wasn't terrified by how many people have fallen for the message.

This is why I have an ad blocker.  I’ll keep an eye out.

That said, I went and voted early.  The crowd is of course nowhere near as utterly massive as it was during the weekend (where on my way to the golf simulator there was a line that was out the door) but there’s a healthy amount of people coming in and out.

I think so too, for the most part, but I also recall Lee Baca going to Fed Pen, despite the fact he was diagnosed with Alzheimers.  The push will be more to seize all oh his assets and make him watch his life's work collapse.  That being said, he's still pursuing this election because he really believes he's going to be buried under a prison if he doesn't win.  In some respects, his perchance for being openly racist and derogatory on stage would be counterproductive to this, but it is both in form to his rotten character and speaks to his belief that the same deranged people that followed him on Jan 6 will defend him just as vigorously.  He clearly exhibits the properties of a man leading an insurgency rather than a man fighting for a legitimate presidency.

No, I have adblocker.

I'm not sure which adblocker I have but the past several weeks has been like a war between YouTube identifying the blocker is on and the blocker suddenly working again, back and forth forever

Feels like Trump is winning Georgia. This is anecdotal obviously, but the GOP ads are muuuuuch more numerous and there are Trump signs everywhere. I’m nauseous.

It's frustrating GA doesn't release the voter information on early votes. Most of the other swing states we can see votes cast by party affiliation, but not GA.

PA is very interesting to watch, because the % dems who cast votes already is 60% Dem to 30% Republican, where the average around most states is more even at 30% or so each.

Ultimately, signs don't win elections.  Rallies don't win elections.  Votes do.  And if the GOP was so confident they had more people, they wouldn't be doing this every five seconds.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-watch-maker-investigation-wyoming-b2631311.html

Donald Trump announced last month he is selling “truly special” Trump Watches priced up to $100,000 and constructed with “premium, Swiss-made” materials.

The watches were part of the latest merchandise push by the former president. The Republican nominee for president wrote on his Truth Social platform about the devices and how “you’re going to love them.” He added: “Would make a great Christmas Gift. Don’t wait, they will go fast. GET YOUR TRUMP WATCH RIGHT NOW!”

Now, the watchmaker's origins are in question after CNN tried to track down the company behind the devices. They aren't based in Switzerland, but their address returns to a strip mall. In Wyoming. Next to an HR&Block and a Wendy's.

Even the address for TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC was questioned by CNN's report. The address the watchmaker listed is a daycare. It's also the same address used by a lobbying firm that represents Montenegro's Government. The location is also tied to an LLC that sells male enhancement honey.

It’s also the address given for the company behind Trump’s golden sneakers...

The watch company LLC was created on July 29, just months before Trump began promoting the jewelry.

The honey company that lists the same Wyoming address as TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC, uses a similar name, TheBestHoneyOnEarth. Vladimir Dmitriev, a spokesperson for the honey seller, told CNN that the company is “highly reputable.” Dmitriev also told the outlet that he “received direction from our leadership” not “engage” with news agencies until after Election Day.

This doesn't surprise me one bit.

Yep, that's my plan too. My polling place is on the way home so I'm hoping to get there and get through by 5p if the lines aren't crazy. Trying to beat the snows.

Never forget that these are the types of people that will go up and tear down/trash/outright steal signs they don't like.

And the ads are a timed dump in all the so-called swing states. If it was in the bag, he'd be spending that money on more Big Macs.

They believe she is ahead in the three Rust Belt states; Georgia and Nevada are tossups; and they are slightly behind in North Carolina and Arizona. But they are keeping their opinions muted.

I don't know where you are, but I barely see signs around here.

But i'm in one of those neighborhoods that goes all out for the holidays, so there's full on cemeteries and skeletons on people's lawns.

Priorities, y'know.

I'm amazed by how horrible Trump supporters are, and this guy follows a pattern that I've experienced with them in real life. You start arguing with them, and it quickly escalates into "I hate you so much, I wish you would die". Like that's the last stage of a Trump supporter. I think it's their final form.

It's also why my life improved greatly improved when I started excluding them from any social interaction.

The Nickelodeon Kids Pick the President poll is a quaint, wholesome tradition that I feel so bad for because they actually have to consider Trump being a serious thing.

(They picked Harris this year, by the way.)

It apparently also has a 78% accuracy rating.

It would be peak everything if the island that doesn't even get to vote for president winds up tipping the scales towards Harris.

That honestly seems to be the case. A lot of Puerto Ricans actually do live on the mainland gasp

Pennsylvania officials rebut false voter fraud claims from home and abroad

Quote

A video of someone ripping up supposed Trump votes in Bucks County is fake and likely originated from Russia, while Trump supporters in the state falsely accused a group of nuns of mass voter fraud.

The nuns replied:

Quote

“We want to call Cliff Maloney to account for his blatantly false post that accuses our sisters of fraud. We do live at Mount Saint Benedict Monastery and a simple web search would alert him to our active presence in a number of ministries in Erie,” prioress Sister Stephanie Schmidt wrote. “We also want to alert those who subscribe to X and other social media platforms to be vigilant and seek additional information before accepting these posts as truth.”

Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Al Schmidt publicly thanked the group for “standing up to election disinformation.”

Maloney’s original post claiming fraud remains up on X. He later wrote that his claim was part of a good faith effort to ensure fair elections and that “if the 53 people registered at this address are legal voters… then I encourage them to participate in their right to vote” while adding “once we have proof, we will be content.”

But Maloney Baloney is still not convinced that the nuns are real people.

Puerto Rican statehood is also going to be on the ballot so that might actually happen because of this fuck up lol

I dropped my PA ballot off today. It was at a ski lodge. There were people supervising the ballot box. I was in and out. So much quicker than in-person voting on election day.

I was so afraid of arsonists I couldn’t do it. Early voting was stupid easy, I don’t know why anyone votes on Election Day unless it’s the only option.

I'm calling it right now. The Puerto Rico joke has cost Trump the election

It would be so funny to me if Tony Hinchcliffe swung the election.

iirc, mail ballot is the only way to vote early in PA. None of these ballots get counted, under a stupid measure by the PA Republican legislation, until election day. However, a greater percentage of Republicans this time are doing mail ballots, so I doubt it'll be the same exact stupid claims as last time.

In PA, there is incentive to vote on election day because you 100 percent know your vote is counted right there as the ballot gets fed to the machine. However, I had to wait 2 hours to vote in 2020 and got covid a week later. Fuck that, not going through that again.
