I'm sure it's a coincidence that it happened after Musk was given a position to cut funding to everything he doesn't like.

This is the exact same thing that Drumpf has done - have a property that goes to shit, claim to have sold it at a loss for the tax benefits, really just 'sells' it to some other company that -surprise- he's the sole owner of under all the fine print.
