Elon Musk now owns Twitter, apparently trying to run it into the ground

Media: X has turned into a right-wing website

CNN: actually, its pretty ideologically even

Thats the funny part of this whole thing. The Left was so used to having complete ideological dominance in social media that the second it becomes even closed to balanced they think its a right-wing website. They are just so used to confirmation bias that the slightest sign of a differing opinion has them fleeing to a safe space where only their ideology is allowed to speak.

My "For You" algorithm feed is probably 1/3 relevant content, 1/3 paid content (meme accounts etc.) that post the same shit over and over with replies from other paid accounts posting more of the same shit over and over (seeming to validate the "dead internet" theory), and the last 1/3 is white nationalist shit that I report and then my reports get auto-denied a week later and I don't remember which white supremacist it was from.

CNN can't possibly, like too many others, be obeying in advance because Husk is currently scooting his ass at Mar-A-Largo and starting up the process of becoming a state-allowed news source in the upcoming Reich as opposed to being actual news. In fact, the dipshit that's been nominated to run the FCC has pointblank said that licensing isn't sacred - in short, they plan on going on a spree of purging anyone that dares to say a single bad thing about Dictator-on-Day-One.

And my feed when I could access it was supposed to be full of cats, books, people I actually know from somewhere, and Japanese dessert recipes. Thanks to that so-called 'balancing', my feed was filled with several shit-monkeys crying about 'woke', MTG posting slurs and music videos from some jackass that trashed a Target for having rainbow-themed items, both Cancun Cruz and CocaineJittersJr pimping their next podcast 40 times per day, and 'official' GOP accounts spurging everywhere.

LEMMING.

BTW - I haven't been able to log on to twitter for a couple of weeks.  The first time I tried during this period, Malwarebytes threw a fit, saying there was some exploit trying to get on my computer.  Just during the log on.

Just 'guessing' but he's probably been letting all possible updates slide or outright rejecting them because he knows best/he fired the people that would have made that sort of thing a priority/security and firewalls hurt his Russian leash handlers.

Idk if it’s true or not but just the possibility of it being true is enough 😆

after Trump’s inauguration all Musk’s legal troubles will disappear. Probably why he attached himself to Trump to begin with

I made an interesting observation, and I feel this is the best place to put it. Elon Musk is the richest person on Earth. He grew up in Apartheid era South Africa and made his wealth here in America. The richest group of people in America are Indian Americans. India is notorious for its caste system, and the majority of Indian citizens who immigrate to America are from the upper castes.

Makes me wonder, at least. Are people who are used to having the upper hand in severe exclusionary practices like Apartheid and the caste system primed to succeed in the US?

By virtue of having no qualms or morals about exploiting anyone "lower" than themselves, probably yeah.

The better question might be whether that's something they could accomplish anywhere, or if something about this country makes it so much easier for them....

It probably is something they can accomplish elsewhere given the same resources.  The obvious correlation is that people who exploit inherent advantages built into a system succeed.  People born into wealth have resources that people who are born into poverty don’t which they can use to gain leverage.  The system itself isn’t a factor.

India in particular has a very bad fraud issue. Many of the scam call centers from there are operated by gangs who've bought law enforcement and politicians, so laws surrounding fraud are lax and police are in on it.

It's systemic enough that I would not be surprised if it's a go-to spot for crooks to get rich quick.

Sorta like America......
