Final Fantasy 6 is usually my default answer, but much like the TV question, there is no way I could fully choose because I'll always think of something I enjoyed just as much if not more.

Right now I'm a Nioh2 fanboy so it's the best shit ever....for the moment.

Andromeda is decent, better than most games.

Doesn't deserve the hate it gets.

Best gunfight mechanics in the series.

What specifically did you not like about it?

The facial animations.

Yeah that was fixed in a patch not long after release iirc.

The storyline wasn't the greatest and the crew banter didn't live up to the originals, but the conversation mechanics were a lot more diverse.

Loooong fucking game too- i had over 300 hours into it and im still not totally done.

It's like the only game you can repeatedly play half hour after half hour to beat the game.  AND it has difficulty levels like actual real games used to.

I didn't like having to grind so hard for little ass rewards. Some of those missions were just time wasters. Follow these clues to 3 different locations for nothing to actually happen.

If I could skip those and having to do as many vaults, then I'd feel better about.

I did appreciate how your skin tone changes the dad's. XD

Also ... those salarians in Andromeda look big as fuck.

My 2nd favorites are probably Bioshock and Dragon Age

Honorable mention of L4D because I sunk hours of my life into it

Spoiler

Played the shit out of it

Yeah, i realized far too late that the whole "sending fireteams" part of the game was pointless af.

Still, there were good things in the game and it definitely didn't deserve the reviews it got right out of the gate.

Then of course, we're judging it after-the-fact, so i guess thats not fair either.

It was decent.

Are you talking about the arcade or the snes port?

On top of New Vegas, there's also that GOAT of all Sonic games, Sonic 3 & Knuckles. That game has held up VERY well over the years.

Literally, all of this is wrong.

So, legend of the mystical ninja always sits with me as some of the best times I had playing back in the day. It definitely hit as a Friday night, pepperoni pizza kinda chill night.

She's batshit insane but I'd have to agree that Sonic 3 is still good. Sonic 2 is my favorite of the series though, or maybe Sonic Mania.

My nostalgic pick for best game will always be Super Mario World. For something not already mentioned here I'll also throw in Super Castlevania IV.

Sonic 2 and 3 & Knuckles definitely aged far better than Sonic 1. Mania took what made the Genesis games great and improved on them. More colors, more frames of animation, new stages with old school-style set pieces, you name it. That game is definitely on my GOAT shortlist.

Out of the Castlevania games, my favorites are SCIV, Bloodlines, and Symphony of the Night. I keep one clear save of SotN on a PS1 memory card so I can do the 99 Luck cheat followed by the glitch to keep Death from taking all my stuff. From there, I just have to hunt for the Shield Rod. Once you have that and the Alucard shield, the game becomes insanely easy. All the bosses will go down in mere seconds.

I never did the 99 luck but did do the Death glitch once, made most of the game super easy outside of a boss fight or two.

Never heard of anyone doing the Death glitch without using the 99 Luck cheat first. Did you use GameShark/Action Replay cheats for this?

No you can do the Death thing without a cheat device, I don't remember how anymore though.

Or maybe I also did the 99 luck but forgot.

So hey, update.

Beat ME3 the other day so I jumped back into Andromeda where I left off.

Which was just before one of the love scenes.

Hoy damn, talk about another thing MEA did better than the previous titles: full on boobies with nipples, naked ass, and thrusting.

Felt like I was watching HBO.

Very nice.
