GuyBeardmane Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 The Last Unicorn. 2 Part fantasy epic with monster design by Guillermo Del Toro. Get Angela Lansbury to reprise her role as Mommy Fortuna, get a multi-ethnic cast that's sorely underrepresented in the Fantasy genre. 3

KimopoBotar Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Spaceman Blues: a love song The saga of seven suns The riftwar saga The Expanse is already a show and i think the king killer chronicles are being made into a show too. Also the sword of truth novels but only the first three or four before they turned into love letters to Ayn Rand. They sucked so bad after that.

Bouvre Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I was going to say Urasawa's Monster, and looked it up in case a Japanese live action film existed. Instead I found "New Line Cinema acquired the rights for an American live-action film adaptation of Monster. Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Josh Olson (A History of Violence) was hired to write the screenplay. Although the studio initially announced a 2009 release, the project apparently fell into production limbo. In 2013, it was revealed that Guillermo del Toro and American premium television network HBO were collaborating on a pilot for a live-action TV series based on Monster. Co-executive producer Stephen Thompson (Doctor Who and Sherlock) was writing the pilot, while del Toro was to direct it and be an executive producer alongside Don Murphy and Susan Montford. In 2015, del Toro told Latino-Review that HBO had passed on the project and that they are in the process of pitching to other studios." I want del Toro on this very badly. 1
