I like not having to take a jacket when I go out, regardless of what time it is.

Me too but it could be about 30 degrees cooler than it is right now and I could still do that

There's a wall unit in the living room and then a portable unit we bought and keep in the room with our computers. But nothing in the bedroom. We bought an air mattress for the days where it doesn't get below 80 degrees even at night so we can sleep in the living room. Had to use it last night.

can you fit a small window unit in there?

I go outside on a normal basis, so yes.

It's pretty fun. You can see animals, sweat a little bit to stay in shape, find stuff to do by water, throw a football around, and forget about being sucked into a screen for a while.

Possibly but idk if it's worth the money. We would never be able to run it at the same time as the other portable one because it would blow a fuse.

You can do all that without dying from the heat

I think it was originally built in like, the 40's or 50's. Other than the fuses and the no central air it's been updated pretty well. Don't know if a timer would work. It was cheaper to just buy the air mattress and sleep out in the living room anyway <_<

I hate summer. My skin is really sensitive to the sun so if I dont wear a jacket or a sweater, the skin on my arms bubbles up in patches. Its looking pretty bad right now because the summer cardigan I bought is too thin

No one told you you had to live in Ohio.  You should be here in the San Fernando Valley, doing God's work.

Oh, this is Viper...He's the only person who keeps asking if I'm fat. I can bench your prepubescent female body without breaking a sweat.

People who like summer live in areas where the humidity is low

In my case, this may be true.

and the temp doesn't rise above 80.

In my case, this is absolutely laughable. Wednesday through Saturday are all going to be over 100 degrees here.

Ugh, me too. If I'm going to be outside for any period of time, I have to have a long sleeved shirt thrown on, hat and gloves. Otherwise I'm tempting Burn City. I even have sunglasses most of the time. And I still end up standing in a cold shower at full blast after biking home half the time to try to cool off. -.-;

I've posted this before but this is my hand after being outside for the length of time it takes to bike home from work while wearing fingerless gloves. I have the same burn patterns today. So damn itchy.

I'm no fashion mogul, but the only thing missing from that look is a pair of Crocs.

About two minutes ago I looked out the little bit of my window I can see the outside through and I felt good seeing there was still some light out. I have an electric light on, and the central air the people who own the property installed recently without warning running, and a box fan, and I only plan to be outside long enough to enter/exit cars and buildings for the next few months, but I get a lot of enjoyment out of seeing the sun at night because the rest of the year I wake up too late to see it during the day half the time. But in short summer blows, agreed.
