Not necessarily responsible impulse decision

a friend took in a pregnant cat their former neighbors abandoned and couldn't keep all the kittens, these were the last two and no one was interested

so given the option of my taking them or them being surrendered to a shelter, my big dumb bleeding heart kicked in and now here we are, no more vacancies at the Kitty Hampton Inn & Suites.

In New York state, one person having four cats in a single residence is grounds for involuntary commitment.

my shrink told me that after I got three cats.

What if it is two people? Do you divide the number of cats by the number of people?

[even though I am definitely the favorite]

Well, it works in my case - one of my cats is 17 or 18, and she just likes to eat, sleep, and be worshiped, although not necessarily in that order. The other two are 3 years old, and like to run around and raise hell together.

the breakdown now is one pair 6/7 years old and one pair 12 weeks old

wilma (one of the older ones) did not like them at first even though she was from a shelter and should have been totally used to scared kittens, but i noticed last night she was totally trying to play with them by chasing them around the basement (even though they are still a little scared of her)

peace is happening and peace will turn into friendship if I have any say in the matter

That's a stupid equation, because all responsible cat owners know the cat needs a buddy unless their cat is an asshole!

My cat is an asshole. :( I tried to get her a friend and I still have the scar on my hand to show for it.

I am jealous of your kitty harem and hope one day to compete or at least place.
