hey you made a poll! :D

to answer your question, i like the hard stuff. no homo.

i can do beer but i wont be enjoying them much till they take effect. mix drinks are ok but they turn out super sugary most the time. not too big into wine either but i do like some stella rosa which is much more sweeter than average wine.

i like the hard stuff put into pretty much anything.
if im drinking beer its gunna be a hard cider or a milk stout, my mix drinks are ALWAYS overpoured, its like DAMN 5 shots? well too late now.
I love me some wine, but i drink a whole bottle if i get it. so i have to get the cheap stuff, but my FAV is 19 crimes an aussie blended wine, that shit is goooodd and like 18% which is damn good for a wine.

thats what she said! :D

haha yes hard cider for me is about the only enjoyment for me when i drink beer. beer with a higher percentage is also acceptable since they take effect much faster. mix drinks that are overpoured are kind of dangerous if you drink them cuz they will just take you by surprise. never heard of that wine but might keep an eye out for it the nxt time i shop around.

i'm a beer guy. i like to drink it, make it, and study it. no particular style is my favorite, but i prefer to stay away from lagers.

My friend has gotten really into making mead. I've yet to try any mead in this life but his garage looks like a damn mad scientist lab with all the different colored liquids and stuff. U ever mess with that? Just wondering

I don't drink no more because I can't get drunk, but busch was my go to drink when I used to drink.

Pretty sure Busch is the reason you're having trouble getting drunk

Mix drinks arent dangerous when i can taste all the alcohol in it. hahaha. I usually drink at home so theres really no danger element at all.
If you ever want recommendations I know me some wine. 19 crimes: the warden is the best, its a pretty common brand.
also the stella artois makes a cider thats p good, but i think strongbow is one of my favs right now

i haven't tried making mead yet, but my sister does occasionally. she uses raw honey from her own bee colonies and fruit from her farm. it's not too bad, but mead in general is too sweet for my taste.

mead was so much sweeter than i thought it would be, theyre always drinking it in fantasy novels i thought it would be more like beer but its def not

That's what scares me away, fermented peaches and pears and honey, I just can't with that Redwall shit.

that's why i stick with beer. you can go so many different directions that you're bound to find something you can enjoy.

wife just started getting into sour beers (thank goodness). she's more of a wine / cider type, but sours give her a fruity-but-not-sweet drink option that doesn't make me look like a girly man, walking out of the bar with a pack of angry orchard under my arm.

as a bomb or a cocktail on the rocks?

If I'm drinking for enjoyment, some sake, plum wine, or a nice beer are great. Darker porter/stout beers like Guinness are my favorite, but I like some lighter beers too like Kona Brewing Co. or Kirin. I'm not too picky if I have to deal with something cheaper unless it tastes like lighter fluid.

Hard liquor's great too, but I get drunk easy so I can't have as much as I'd hope. I prefer the kick in the ass, so I usually drink liquor neat or on-ice. I have a hard time finding a go-to cocktail, but caipirinha, gin & juice, Irish coffee, and mojitos are pretty good.

As for which one's I enjoy, it'd have to be rum, gin, whisky/scotch, and tequila. Almost everything except vodka. Some favorites include Barbancourt, Hendricks, and Suntory.

Whether its cocktail recipes, the hard stuff, shots, what to drink on a rainy day. Whatever you're feeling...

what is the best

sake, iced with a apple or pear slice

i could drink a gallon of sake in about 2 hours and be whacked out good for a few hours....

i used to do that and practice japanese language classes and japanese drumming.

sake, at the 750ml is pointless unless you have like $60 to $100 bucks.

Love me the classic rum and coke.

And anything fruity, 'cuz I'm not a fan of the taste of alcohol >.>

And occasionally some cider, preferably raspberry.

Also, almond champagne is usually my go to. xD
