What...? The sock is covering up the first two frets. Neither were needed in the song, and if I were to put the sock behind the nut, it would not mute the open strings like I needed. I really do need to get a scrunchy, as I imagine this hurdle would not exist. I have long hair, but even long-haired dudes don't typically use scrunchies to tie their hair back/up.

You are exactly correct about the sock. It took me many years to find out that trick through a guitar teacher at the local community college, though he recommended a scrunchy. My bandmate that we record our music together recommended a sock, as that's what he uses. You're incorrect about the lack of inlay at the 12th fret though, it is there.

I recognize that Frog avatar.... stonergoth was kind enough to duplicate a whole lot of moving and still 8-bit and 16-bit sprites I found on the net so the pictures belonged to her, and I could use them as avatars on the ASMB under their ridiculous rules.... I'm assuming you, kuds, found this image elsewhere on the net and didn't use the exact one I used (the one made by stonergoth), but I digress... That's ok.... I can share... it's a bad ass avatar and I'm always up for people repping Chrono Trigger, and Frog in particular. Also, my work is having a video talent contest and I submitted myself playing Frog's Theme on guitar.
