If you want to write this for fun, have at it. If you're going to whine whenever someone calls it cliche, don't post about it online. D-Day was a huge impact on multiple continents, so this type of story has been done many, many times. I don't even read military fiction, but I've seen several plots identical to this. There's nothing wrong with throwing another one of these books out there, but if you don't want to hear these kind of comments, it's on you to research a way to write something that sticks out from all of those other books. A good way to see what readers are tired of or want to see more of is by lurking book discussion sites, specifically in topics about military scifi.

My class loved it(including me). We were constantly tortured with 6 hour historical miniseries based off shitty books, so the '96 Romeo + Juliet was a goddamned oasis among boring films and anyone making fun of it got told to shut the fuck up real quick.

I do exercises on my bed(shut up pervs!) while lying down so my back is supported, or lean against a wall while doing exercises with one leg while the other one is stationary on the floor. The latter really helps out my bad knees and ankles.

If another studio had done Black Clover, I would probably watch it.

I haven't seen Tokyo Ghoul and never jump on that hate train, but Black Clover deserves the vitriol. It's a show that's been blatantly shoved down people's throats as the great new shonen while it has done nothing to earn that distinction. If it was just a shitty show without the insulting amount of shilling pretending that's it's not trash, I would just ignore it. But nope, fans had to watch Toonami buy into that manufactured hype and trash their ratings.

If you have a strong sense of smell, you can tell even more than a week afterwards if someone has been smoking in a place. It freaking lingers on anything with fabric, and nothing else really smells like it.

That's cute how all of this wraps up neatly in your head, but that's not how that works in reality. Your little scenario doesn't account for what happens after he goes home and cries, and he now hates women more. Maybe he leaves Vixen alone, but this could also put her life in danger. By showing up where he thinks Vixen is going to be and online stalking her friend, this guy has already demonstrated that he's willing to go beyond talking shit. You do not antagonize people like that unless you can properly fuck them up without it coming back on you. School is not as safe as you think it is especially since people can't be on guard 24/7, which is what you'd end up having to do with men like this. Look at it this way. You know how hard it is to get it through your thick ass skull that this isn't the same for women as it is for dudes? Multiply that several times and that's how thickheaded entitled douchebags like this are.

I'm pretty sure claiming that a high number of guys jumped him in prison is the equivalent to lying about dick size. Ain't no 16 guys jumping a small fry. 5 tops. More than that and the job would have gotten finished. Dude could have at least been subtle and said something like 10 guys.

This guy is already fixated on her and giving off mass shooter warning signs, so no we are not overreacting. He also hates women and probably won't listen to any rational explanation about how his behavior is the reason why they don't want him. Public humiliation is not a route you want to go down unless you can be 100% sure about what kind of access he has to guns.

I totally support pushing this guy down the stairs, but there isn't a way to pull that off without him suspecting that you did that on purpose. This guy sounds disturbed, and I'm afraid of what he would do to get payback. I hope you can find someone to give you trustworthy advice about this situation because you should be able to go to school without having to deal with assholes like this.

It's thanks to y'all that I can blend in with the healthy folks. Before 2010, I'd get the third degree about why I'm still living with my parents. Nowadays, people just assume it's because of the economy and don't get nosy anymore.

You seem like someone who could get some good licks in and make the other person remember that fight. That can make a beat down worth it, but the way Lasty is getting whooped just seems kind of pointless.
