Murkowski, Collins and McConnell voted no. Vance broke the tie.

How do we live in the timeline where Mitch McConnell has to try being the hero?

Too bad no one gaf what he thinks anymore. Just a few years ago his “no” vote might’ve persuaded other republicans to fall in line. Not anymore.

His transformation into Bowsers most loyal Koopa is sure to spawn a shell at any moment. Saying that I need everyone to know there's really not a whole lot of geriatric turtle looking politicians that manage to make me actually loathe them. Him and Jeff Sessions just seem to be put on earth to do that for me. Not even Sessions could kiss enough dick for Trump though. :extremeindifferent:

lol...we can't even take care of the ones we have.

I hate agreeing with George Carlin during his cranky grandpa years, but he was right about "You're pre-born, you're fine, you're pre-school, you're fucked!"

I genuinely think they should have been asked at the debates and at every future debate "is America a white nation?" because it's obviously the most pressing question and the one they'd have to contort themselves into the hardest knot to avoid answering.

We’re lucky Gaetz dropped out on his own cuz clearly the punks in Congress are too scared to say “no”

our next president is going to have to spend their first year in office undoing all of this shit

Oh boy, here we go!  This is probably an order from Trump. The Trusk/Mump administration is having a rough patch. Musk is probably jealous of Hegseth. Musk was reportedly last seen shouting “I’m the baby!” “I’m the 53 year old Nazi baby!” up and down the West Wing halls to anyone who would listen

I'm half-thinking that if the post-covid economics were inevitable, maybe he should have just won reelection in 2020

That was always a thought in the back of my mind. Had he won in 2020 we’d be done w him by now. Plus he would have had a more adult cabinet. Now our government is full of yes men sycophants and our president wants to make us all pay for rejecting him 4 years ago

Trump would consider rejoining WHO if they “clean up a bit” he disapproves of their handling of covid and “other health crises” he told his supporters in a rally in Las Vegas

One Why is Trump still doing rallies?  It’s over. Give it a rest. HOWEVER if he’s off spouting caca to his cult followers he’s not signing EOs

Two Why does Trump not understand the mission of WHO?  They must behave diplomatically and apolitically if they are to gain access to some of the most hostile nations in the world  they can’t be pissing folks off

It never was.

That said if Trump croaks I don’t see Vance keeping him around.

All someone has to do is get that dumbass drunk enough to say something not nice about the Annoying Orange on tape/in front of witnesses and he'll be fired because no one is allowed to hurt Der Fart's fee-fees.

Considering that there were a lot of those very loyal people at Faux that were very fine with saying what a f*ckwit he is [ hence the need to settle those lawsuits before anything could get entered into official records ], it's just a matter of time before he gets uninhibited and ends it.

Vance can't even stand the three he has. His idea of being a dad is coming home and yelling at them for existing in his space.

We’re going to get to the point where the liquid egg substitute from plants is cheaper than regular eggs and that’s when the red states are going to really lose it.

Admittedly I always get whites or better than eggs because I don’t want to worry about the cholesterol.

Pretty soon - "Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”"

Not sure why this is funny.  Global warming is not only stressing crops, but releasing spores that have been buried below permafrost for centuries.  Some might be crop destroying in the same way that a nearby chicken farm just had to kill all its flock due to bird flu.  The West is on fire, the Deep South getting snow.  Gallows humor, maybe?

The human condition is a black comedy. Suffering is hilarious.

I cannot believe the Gulf of Mexico has now been renamed and Denali reverted back to mt McKinley

dumbest fuckin timeline wtf

Republicans like to claim they advocate for states' rights when Alaskans are the ones who wanted it to be named Denali. Typical hypocritical shit. 🙄

The Civil War was unequivocally about slavery, while we are at it.

Not buying it.  it should know that people still call it "Sears Tower" and "Marshall Field's", despite buy out "name changes" (Willis & Macy's, respectively).

but all these name changes, and making moves on iceland and canada...

it's a red herring.

State rights only apply when it’s convenient Trump doesn’t like that Alaskans wanted to honor the Native Alaskans and bring back its original name.

A Mexican restaurant near me got raided by ICE. I got banned for a few days on reddit for telling a retarded bitch to go kill herself.

I'm starting to really hate this country.

the USAF has removed all materials and video from their formal pilot training courses:

the tuskagee airmen (redtails) and the WAPS both incredibly significant contributions to the branch and history.

make america white again.

a historian with the williamsburg colonial org (it's a whole park and stuff) anyway...all the years and gathering info, and compiling it for the official site and tour, about the relationship between settlers ,native americans and slaves has all been erased.

There has to be Chinese and Russian interference deeply embedded into the state now cause what the fuck is all this? Just gonna create further division while grocery prices will continue to rise, affordable healthcare will be repealed and cause many to completely lose insurance, and we slip further into an oligarchy. The main beneficiaries are not rich people but China and Russia. While America is filled more and more with strife, China will invade Taiwan.
