Rogue_Alphonse Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 I don't know if I could honestly... same with going to movie.
Distortedreasoning Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 yes. i kinda hooked up with this chick that was kinda by herself.
inhumanrampager Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Quite a bit actually. I enjoyed the bands, I moshed, talked with people nearby, had fun, then went home.

Hornshire Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Quiet. We much prefer concerts where the musicians are also present.

Vamped Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Ehh not a concert, Ive gone to Broadway shows and an opers by myself
tsar4 Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 It was no different than going with friends. Was kinda surprised when Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) invited the crowd (approx. 200) to their hotel bar for a drink. Opening act (Loverboy on a "comeback" tour) sucked, they phoned it in like they were still popular. 1
GuyBeardmane Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 I saw Puddles Pity Party solo. It was a fun show.
Bouvre Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Went to see Mark Lanegan in a small venue. Talked with some fans, got Mark to take a photo with the plush husky I had in my backpack. It was very pleasant.
Naraku4656 Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 bunch of times. actually i think i've only ever been to concerts by myself except when i was like a kid or something
Chapinator_X Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Went to a Ludacris concert by myself. It was a great experience, but because I was alone, I was more focused on those around me. It was at my college campus, but there was some nerdy white freshman next to me whose grandmother brought him there and he was freaking out when "Stand Up" came on. He mimicked all the lyrics and started going batshit crazy. God bless his grandma's soul, she was calm and patient as this dude was getting up in everyone's faces during "Stand Up". 1 1
Poof Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 oh sure lots of times. I never make new friends at concerts unless I go alone. And since you're beholden to no one else's evening plans, whenever you feel like you've gotten enough show, you can jump stage when security is distracted and give the band a hugs until security picks you up and throws you out. It's a good way to beat the rush and be first to the parking lot too. Or you can make it like a game and keep trying to get back in. One time I got thrown out like that, went back to the front and just ran back in and hid until they found me. Then they stationed a guy in the front and I juked around him and hid again. Then they stationed 3 guys at the front and I was finally thwarted

katt_goddess Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 I have no issues with going to a concert alone. I'm on me-time and only have to worry about my schedule and not anyone else's then. 1
