Blatch
They even spelled the title correctly! Awesome. The premiere date is a little weird, but I'm sure other announcements will clarify why it is soon.

OSC
I'll add this into my discussion list, but it's interesting. When it comes to watch sub simulcasts, I nearly always avoid sports animes. I just can't get myself interested into wanting to watch them. I don't hate sports animes. Just don't care. With the exception of Toonami deciding they want to air it. For that, I'm game (pun wished was intended).

OwlChemist81
I really hope FLCL Alternative's rerun gets moved back to 1:30 AM and everything moves up. It's such a disservice to those 4 shows that they don't get to directly follow Dragon Ball Super, even if they don't do all that great themselves. Maybe we'll learn more with Pre-Flight tonight? Are we even getting a new Pre-Flight or is it all about the festival??

I know you like to be optimistic, but considering they got away with rerunning all of Progressive without changing its slot, it's obvious they'll do the same for this. Pre-Flight is on tonight, but they don't seem to announce anything on there outside of simulcasted convention panels. Wait for a Facebook post this weekend, is what I'm saying. ben0119
Really? A sports anime? Can't say I'm too interested. Not into sports at all. What happened to Demarco swearing off sports anime because they get bad ratings? Guess combat sports might be an exception. Heck, we've even got some officially sanctioned fights on DB Super and My Hero Academia right now. I suppose this is following the example of Pop Team Epic. Demarco said they would be experimenting more, and sports anime used to be no go, but now that changes. As has been said, nothing is off the table. Except probably a Toonami Original Rurouni Kenshin continuation. Hope this works out better than Prince of Tennis.

DangerMouse
Could be fun since this should be damned cool with a dub. Don't usually watch sports anime but I did want to give this one a watch since the art style of this show felt very Champloo mixed with Bebop-style worn-in scifi when it came out, and the first two eps I sampled of the sub reminded me of Redline, with a likable lead and being really stylish, which was a fun movie, so I'll give this an extended shot now that it'll be an easy watch on Toonami. In the synopsis but I guess potential minor spoiler for those wanting to go in cold: Including the strong similarity to Redline with his initial setup situation with the fixed fights and his partner. There’s sports like tennis, and then there’s combat sports, which speak the universal language of violence. There are few things more primal and powerful in the world than two people trying to overpower each other using only what God gave them, fists, feet and knowledge. It calls to you in a way few things can.
Daos
Also, it's not just boxing, it's boxing in a future dystopian world where they use machines to augment their boxing abilities. It's a solid anime that will appeal to people that don't like sports anime the same way Ping Pong did.

It would be a great role for him to come out of semi-anime retirement on but he’s not the only option. I need Beau Billingslea as Nanbu though. Beau has been in HxH recently and he wasn’t Morel or the old man on Gundam IBO so I really want him for Nanbu. That said, you have a solid pick with Michael McConnohie. Jameson Price is also an option. Seitz could be Yuri but I think it’s more of a Kirk Thornton, Crispan Freeman or Liam O’Brien type role. Or maybe Cam Clarke, he was in JoJo recently as elder Darby. Erica Mendez works for Sachio but there’s a ton of options for him and the other kids.
OwlChemist81
In light of the fact that AOT is essentially in "lame duck" status now, I think they'll actually roll this out on December 1st, together with another show. I'm personally, specifically hoping for SSSS.Gridman, as it would effectively bring back the mecha sub-genre from the dark abyss that it's been in since April (no, I don't count AOT as mecha). Here's how the rest of the year goes then in the 11:30-12:30 timeslots: 10/20: FLCLA #1/AOT #46 10/27: FLCLA #2/AOT #47 11/3: FLCLA #3/AOT #48 11/10: FLCLA #4/AOT #49 11/17: Double-Shot of FLCLA (#5 & #6) 11/24: Thanksgiving Marathon 12/1: Megalobox/SSSS.Gridman(?) #1 Alternatively, we may see FLCLA move back to 1:30 starting this weekend, and if that's the case, then Megalobox replaces AOT instead on 11/17. They might even forego the Halloween marathon in order to roll it out on 11/10, or perhaps something ELSE new on 11/10 (C'mon, SSSS.Gridman!!!) If THAT'S the case, Megalobox stays at 12/8 as announced...or does it? Also interesting is the fact that One-Punch Man ends in 4 episodes, whatever the hell that means. That means Toonami needs a new rerun in 4 episodes, whatever the hell that means. That could mean either 11/17, 12/1, or even 12/8 depending upon how they schedule things, as another X-Factor is the longer block on November 3rd in which a few shows might be pre-empted for a movie or some other sort of special. korosu
megalobox is their "newest show" so we're looking at a 1:30 am rerun, likely flcl, starting 12/1 to buy the right amount of time for attack on titan
