They suck big fat donkey dick.

The meat is trash, the veggies are junk...

Fuck this noise.

There's one around here that I've never been to. Never seemed particularly interesting and it seems like I haven't missed out.

But also I've kind of been in the mindset recently that I might as well just go to the store and get meat sliced from the deli and make my own damn sandwich.

I mean, I was slightly enticed because of their marketing strategy. But it wasn't worth it... And I threw out most of it.

Every sandwich requires you to ask for au jus just to choke it down......That said, sometimes I crave it because I like their pastrami if you get it when they first set it out or make a new batch

overpriced.

not even as good as subway.

Subway's bread to meat ratio is atrocious. And their bread is kinda balls to begin with.

There are no good chain sub places.

Gotta go local for subs/hoagies/grinders/po boys etc..

Sunday's amazing, same with Jimmy John's, and Blimpie is classic.

Also I don't like the idea of warmed up mayo. The cheese is fake and waxy and gross. Also they're expensive for the portion sizes.

I liked Blimpie, the pastrami was pretty good.  Haven't seen one since I left the U.P.

Never went there.

I went to Sub tender in Forest Park usually.

i miss quiznos :(

Their own fault.  Their commercials were terrible & had very little to do with enticing people to go to their restaurants.

That’s because no good sub chains go to your shithole state.

Not just those.  The radio spots (e.g. - here's a bear vs a chihuahua...) were just as bad.

best chain we have around here is jimmy johns, so you know we ain't got shit.

there was a good sub shop off campus at wiu called international sandwich shop. they stayed open til like 3am on weekends to catch the drunks going home from the bar. that made them the best sub shop ever, just by default.

Jersey Mike's is pretty good but way too expensive.

I see them going the way of Quiznos if they aren't careful.

man...i miss cali. so very very much.

also @pailit figures you would eat at jersey mike's.

I don't. I've had them like three times because they're so expensive.

More importantly though... The fuck you mean by that?

I swear I had seen people say good things about them here so I tried them and it was pretty bad.

I'm a bit upset the best sandwich place I've tried was in Denver so I can't get it again.
