I'm generally like this too. But sometimes the discomfort of feeling like you're in an oven supercedes the discomfort of sleeping without a sheet/blanket/comforter on top of me.

If it makes you feel any better I get creeped out when my *limbs hang off the mattress at all because I know there are no monsters under my bed but I still think something is going to chomp them off in my sleep fixed it! I never felt it but I used to feel a small weight like a dog at the foot of my bed sometimes, so we determined I had a ghost dog 1
